The camera pans to the ancestral house of the Blacks once again.
Everyone, especially the Blacks, straightened themselves to see what more secrets were meant to be out.
In the grand drawing room of the ancestral Black family mansion in France, the air was filled with a mix of tension and anticipation. The family had gathered for a reunion unlike any other, with old grudges and fresh hopes swirling beneath the surface. Sirius Black, recently freed from false charges, stood by the fireplace, his gaze distant and thoughtful.
Regulus Black, his younger brother, sat nearby, watching Sirius with a mixture of concern and curiosity. The room was filled with other members of the extended Black family, including the Tonks, Malfoys, and Lestranges, each absorbed in their own conversations, yet keenly aware of the impending discussions.
"That's.....something I never imagined," murmured Sirius silently but was heard by everyone present in the hall
Indeed it was a sight no one thought would come to life.
As they gathered in the ornate drawing room, the air was thick with a mix of anticipation, unease, and curiosity. It had been years since they had all been together, and much had changed.
Sirius, looking both exhausted and determined, stood by the grand fireplace. Regulus was at his side, providing silent support. Andromeda Tonks, with her husband Ted and daughter Nymphadora, chatted quietly with Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy, while Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange observed the room with their usual intensity.
Seeing this the Black sisters looked at each other longingly.
Perhaps the future have been kind to them.
Sirius cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention. "Thank you all for coming," he began, his voice steady but filled with emotion. "It's been a long time since we were together like this. Too long."
Narcissa, ever the gracious hostess, smiled warmly. "It's good to have you back, Sirius. We have much to discuss."
Sirius nodded, his gaze shifting to Lucius. "Yes, there is. I've spent years in Azkaban, betrayed by those I thought were my friends. The light side, the Order... they all abandoned me. They knew I was innocent, yet they did nothing."
The betrayal still fresh in Sirius mind made him flinch silently, wondering what went wrong with everyone, was he just a tool to be used?
James Potter silently held his pseudo brother's hand assuring him everything will be fine, eventhough he didn't knew the difference between right and wrong.
There was a murmur of agreement from Bellatrix. "The light side never understood loyalty, Sirius. But we are family, and family stands by each other."
Sirius's eyes softened as he looked around the room. "I realize now that I should have made amends with all of you long ago. Before it was too late. I regret not being there for our family."
Andromeda stepped forward, her eyes compassionate. "We all made mistakes, Sirius. What's important is that you're here now, and we can start anew."
Sirius took a deep breath, nodding. "There's something else that's been weighing on me. My daughter, Victoria... and her mother."
Someone from the back fo the hall asked loudly, "Who even is her mother?"
James and Remus asked Sirius silently, "Do you have any idea?," all they got was a negative response from the latter
Everyone had the same question though the Black siblings were wondering if their thoughts were correct and if "she" was Victoria's mother?
Narcissa smiled reassuringly. "Victoria has flourished at Hogwarts. She is everything we could have hoped for and more."
Lucius straightened, his expression becoming more serious. "Victoria is in good hands, Sirius. She is the Queen of Slytherin, respected and admired by her peers. Narcissa has ensured that she becomes the noble and respected lady of the house."
Everyone in the room seemed to hold their breath, anticipating Sirius's reaction to the news about his daughter being in Slytherin. However, instead of anger or disappointment, Sirius's face lit up with pride.
"The Queen of Slytherin," he repeated, a smile breaking across his face. "She was always meant to be a leader, just like her mother. I'm proud of her."
"I am proud of her and always will be even if she was a death eater", said Sirius with love making everyone in the hall look at him shockingly.
The Black family looked at each other having the same thought, "perhaps a child was all he needed to see the truth"
There was a collective sigh of relief as the tension dissipated. Regulus clapped Sirius on the back. "Victoria is a remarkable young woman. You have every reason to be proud."
Sirius nodded, his eyes shining with newfound hope. "Thank you, all of you, for taking care of her. For being there when I couldn't."
Bellatrix, ever the fierce protector of family, added, "Nothing will harm her, Sirius. She has the strength of the Black family behind her."
The Black family in the hall agreed with Bellatrix's statement - they always protected their loved ones no matter the circumstances
The room filled with a renewed sense of unity and purpose. They had all faced their share of trials and tribulations, but in that moment, they were united by their shared blood and commitment to each other.
Sirius raised his glass. "To family, and to new beginnings."
The others echoed the toast, their glasses clinking together in a harmonious chorus. As they drank, the future seemed a little brighter, bolstered by the strength and loyalty of the Black family. And for the first time in years, Sirius felt a sense of peace and belonging, knowing that his daughter was not only safe but thriving in the house that had once divided them all.
