7. a date?

" You'll drill holes in your phone with that gaze."
Yoongi spoke so close to Jimin's ear that his phone nearly slid out of his grasp, but Yoongi quickly grabbed it for him.

" Love sick boy."

Yoongi whispers as he returns the phone to Jimin, and Jimin goes back to refreshing his and Minjae's conversation until he realizes what Yoongi just called him. His thought process seems to have been delayed due to Minjae; after all, he occupies the majority of his thoughts these days.

" What did you call me ?"

He switched off his phone and put it to his side. He cannot let Yoongi get away with pestering him.

" Love Sick Boy."

Yoongi repeats, this time with clear enunciation. He has seen Jimin being stuck to his phone since morning.

Even when eating breakfast, Jimin's eyes were fixed on his phone, causing him to feed his nose rather than his mouth, and even now, as they drive to college, he is still fixated on that infernal phone, more specifically on that little crush of his.

" I-am not in love."

Jimin tries to deny it, but Yoongi's smug expression tells him he's not going to believe him. So, rather than argue it, Jimin chose to shift the conversation to Yoongi.

" What do you even know about love? You said you never had a girlfriend."

Yoongi assumed Jimin had not heard his statements last night, but Jimin proved him wrong. He decided to tease Jimin by speaking the following lines directly into his ear.

" Yeah, but you never asked about boyfriend."

Yoongi's cold breath and his words both sent shivers down Jimin's spine.

" Boyfriend..."

Jimin murmured as if it was a forbidden word, then looked to Yoongi to see whether he was joking.

In order to convince him, Yoongi began narrating the story of his first boyfriend.

" He was the son of my father's friend, we were both around 15 at that time."

Yoongi closed his eyes as he recalled all of the embarrassing things he had done as a teenager, getting a boyfriend was probably the least embarrassing among them.

" You were quite young."

Jimin had already entered adulthood without experiencing teenage love.

It's not that he wasn't attracted to anyone; it's just that he was content with a simple crush and didn't want to make a big deal about it, so the fact that Yoongi got his first boyfriend at 15 was a big deal for him.

Given that he still can't confess to his crush, he believes that teenager Yoongi had more guts than adult him.

" We weren't that serious about it, we just wanted to give it a try."

Both of them weren't serious about it; they were simply curiosity-driven, but they maintained that relationship for half a year, which surprised both of them. Especially to Yoongi, who had expected their love to last upto a week only.

" So, where is he taking you to ?"

Yoongi shifts the conversation back to Jimin, thinking that's enough personal information sharing for today.

" Movies."

Jimin responds cheerfully as he stares at the text message sent by Minjae.

" Movies are not the ideal spot to go on a first date. You should go somewhere peaceful and get to know each other better."
