20. are your eyes blushing?

Yoongi and Jimin didn't talk at all on their way down. Even though Jimin's legs were wobbly, this time he didn't want to ride on Yoongi's back. He was too shy after hearing the confession. So, he gathered all his might and walked down on his own.

After returning, Yoongi went out saying he needed to get some home supplies, leaving Jungkook and Jimin alone in the house. The two quickly settled on the big couch, too tired to make it to the room.

" Jimin hyung."

Jungkook waves his hand in front of Jimin who was so lost in his imagination that he didn't hear Jungkook calling his name so many times.

He was still not able to come to terms with what happened on the mountain today, everything felt like a dream to him and he still feels like he's gonna wake up from it at any moment.

" Sorry, I was-"

" Busy thinking about Yoongi hyung."

Jungkook completed his sentence before Jimin had the time to give him some excuse.

A pink tint covers Jimin's cheeks on being exposed like that. He's thankful Yoongi is not here right now to see him being embarrassed like this.

" No, it's not-"

" You don't have to lie in front of me, I can see it in your face."

Jungkook strikes back again and Jimin closes his mouth, knowing there's no benefit in denying it.

After all, Jungkook was there when it happened, so it's not a really big deal.

" You know Yoongi hyung has been secretly crushing on you for a long time."

Jimin still can't digest the fact that Yoongi was in love with him from day one. He can only think about how much it'd have hurt him when he saw him with Minjae. He was such an idiot to talk to Yoongi about his crush and not see the way Yoongi looked at him.

" Yoongi hyung didn't believe in true love before."

Jungkook remembers how much he and Yoongi used to bicker on this topic. Yoongi always used to say that true love is nothing but a myth and that Jungkook would be forever single if he kept looking for his one true love.

Yoongi used to have a lot of flings but none of them ever lasted, he used to spend his nights in bars surrounded by touches of the unknown. That's how he used to live before he met Jimin.

" He didn't believe in true love.... until he met you."

He still remembers that day Yoongi came to him with a baffled look, eyes so wide as if he had just seen a God on earth, lips pulled up in the biggest smile and Jungkook was unable to figure out what was the reason behind it. And Yoongi only said a few words. 'I think I'm in love.' He said it while holding Jungkook by his shoulder.

He turns to look at Jimin's face, his face was red but eyes shining so beautifully and Jungkook could see why his hyung fell in love with him.

" I know your past experience was bad, it made you doubtful of love but I promise you Yoongi hyung would never hurt you."

Yoongi had vaguely told him about what happened between Jimin and Minjae so Jungkook understands Jimin's hesitation. He understands why Jimin is afraid of falling in love again.

But he knows his hyung, he knows how well Yoongi would protect Jimin's heart, he'd never do something that'd hurt Jimin. Jimin just needs to be open with him. He had already put his life on line to save Jimin and there's no doubt he'd do it again to keep Jimin safe.

" His love for you is pure and sincere."

He knows when Yoongi loves someone he pours his heart out for him, he has been on the receiving end of Yoongi's love for years. So he knows how far Yoongi can go for people he loves.
