11. a family

After Minjae dragged Jimin out of Yoongi's room he brought him to one of the rooms that was open. Since Jimin's house has many empty rooms, they didn't have much problem finding a room for them to spend some alone time.

As soon as they entered the room Minjae embraced Jimin in his arms in a back hug. Jimin was surprised by this sudden affectionate act but also felt really happy. He let Minjae hug him like that for sometime, as he felt his worries and tiredness fade away slowly.

Even though he and Minjae were officially boyfriends now he still couldn't believe it, as it all happened too fast.
He was so worried about Yoongi that he almost ignored Minjae when he asked him to be his boyfriend.

He thought he was just hearing words, but when Minjae asked him again then only he realized this was all happening in real life.

Hearing Minjae say how he has liked him for a long time, how he was trying to find a chance to get close to him, how he was nervous to approach him directly and how he decided to ask Jimin to hang out in the hopes that Jimin would understand his feelings; this all felt unbelievable to Jimin. He couldn't believe that Minjae was trying so desperately to get close to him.

He also told Jimin how he was going to ask him to be his boyfriend while they were having ice cream, but that time everything went haywire. But that incident made Minjae understand that he doesn't like Jimin, he loves him and he can't go on in his life without Jimin.

So, once he got the news that Yoongi was out of danger, he decided to confess his feelings to Jimin.

" You must be tired, baby."
Minjae said softly as he stroked the top of Jimin's head. Their height difference gives him a clear upper hand in these romantic situations.

Jimin gives him a little nod to that. Even though it still feels weird to hear Minjae call him baby, he thinks he'll get used to it in some time.

" Come on, let's take a seat, I've so much to tell you about."
Minjae said, sitting on the sofa as he pulled Jimin to sit right beside him.

After that, they spent some time talking to each other, mostly it was Minjae telling Jimin about his life while Jimin hummed in response and added a few words here and there.

Even though Jimin's body was present there, his mind was still with Yoongi. He kept thinking about if Yoongi was still in pain, if he had fallen asleep or was still lying awake. He hoped that he wouldn't get up from the bed, as the doctor had advised him of strict bed rest.

Slowly Minjae's voice started sounding like a lullaby to him and Jimin was trying his best to stay awake. But the lack of sleep was finally catching up on his body. He didn't sleep for more than a few hours these last days, he spent all night wide awake monitoring Yoongi's condition.
He would have pulled through tonight too if Yoongi wasn't awake. Because for Yoongi he would.

Seeing Jimin in a half asleep state, Minjae stopped talking. He stared at Jimin's cute face with a smile and rested Jimin's head on his shoulder. Soon enough Jimin was fast asleep next to him.

Jimin only realized he had fallen asleep when he woke up the next morning. He was sleeping on the couch with a pillow under his head and a blanket draped neatly over him that wasn't present before. He looked around to search for Minjae but he was alone in the big room.

He turned on his phone to see the messages from Minjae. Minjae said that he had something important to do so he left first.
Under that message was a picture that he took with Jimin sleeping on his shoulder, a bunch of heart emojis accompanying the picture.

Jimin smiled fondly at the picture and text message. He replied back with a thank you note and heart emojis. He stared at the picture fondly, their first picture as boyfriends and decided to set it as his wallpaper.
