24. i fade into you

Jimin wakes up the next day to find himself tucked neatly in the bed. Like a confused baby he looks around himself, the last night events take a few seconds to finally seep into his brain and once they did, Jimin let out a little yelp.

He closes his eyes once again, as he starts to relieve all those moments– him pecking Yoongi's lips, his love confession followed by their first kiss.
He traces the outline of his lips with his fingertips and starts to think about the feeling of Yoongi's lips on his. It makes him feel all shy and giddy inside, kicking his feet in the air as he tries to calm his racing heart.

He can't believe how perfect his first kiss was, better than he could have ever imagined. It was mostly because the person who kissed him was perfect too. He now feels like it was all worth the while, his first kiss became so much more special because it was Yoongi.

He looks around the room to see Yoongi not being there. He remembers falling asleep outside in Yoongi's arms, he was out like a rock because of the alcohol.
He gets a sudden flashback of Yoongi's face being so close to him, it's a hazy memory but he's sure Yoongi was carrying him in his arms.

A warmth spread all over his body at that, feeling so cared for right now. He can't thank God enough to send someone like Yoongi into his life. If he can get Yoongi after suffering so much then he's ready to suffer again and again, he just wants Yoongi in the end.

He put his hand on his chest, feeling his heartbeat. His heart that beats for Yoongi only. He feels so much relieved now that he has told Yoongi about his feelings.
A question pops in his head suddenly.

Are they in a relationship now?
This is his first ‘real’ relationship so he doesn't know how these kinds of things work. All his source of knowledge on the matter of love has been the numerous romantic dramas and movies that he likes to watch.

Are they automatically in a relationship now that they've kissed and both confessed or does he have to ask Yoongi to be his boyfriend ?

“ Why are you stressing out your little brain so much ?”
Yoongi announces his presence in the room.
Jimin was staring hard at the ceiling with the pillow clutched in his arms and a pout on his lips, it instantly made Yoongi think that Jimin was in deep thoughts.

“ Good morning, Prince.”
Yoongi takes a seat on the bed and ruffles Jimin's hair lightly, it makes Jimin look up at Yoongi. And when they made eye contact Yoongi quickly leaned down to peck Jimin's lips, catching him by surprise. A simple peck is enough to get him all shy and he thinks he'll continue to behave like this for sometime. The simple touch jolts a spark in his body and he has an irresistible urge to connect their lips again in a deep kiss.

“ G-good morning.”
Jimin replied back, trying to contain his emotions. His face starts to heat as his eyes fall on Yoongi's lips. He uses the pillow to cover his face knowing he's becoming red.

Yoongi smiles fondly at that, cooing over Jimin's cuteness as he feels his heart tighten. Even after last night's confession and their sweet kiss, Yoongi still can't believe that Jimin is finally his now. It'll take some time for it to settle down.

“ Do you want breakfast in bed or will you come down?”
Yoongi stands up from the bed, even though he'd love to just get in bed with Jimin and engulf him in his arms right now, he had something else planned for the day.

“ Down.”
Jimin replies, slowly pushing the pillow out of his face.
Yoongi gives him a nod and then starts to walk out.

“ Yoongi…”
Jimin calls for Yoongi.

Yoongi had a frown on his face as he turned around to face him, it made Jimin wonder about what he did wrong to spoil his mood.

“ What's wrong ?”
Yoongi doesn't reply, instead he folds his hands to his chest and heaves a loud sigh.
