12. MY

“ Can I come in?” 

Jimin asks knocking on the door of his own room. It certainly feels weird to ask permission to enter his own room but he's gotten used to it since he and Yoongi started sharing his room. 

They both respect each other's privacy and always knock on the door to announce their presence to the other. 

It's been a few weeks since the incident, Yoongi's shoulder has healed completely by now, thanks to all the bed rest that Jimin gave him. Yoongi hasn't seen the outside world at all these past few weeks, all he has seen are the four walls of Jimin's room and Jimin himself. 

Well, if the confinement comes with Jimin, Yoongi doesn't mind being a prisoner for even years. 

“ You make me feel like this is my home.” 

Jimin lightly smiles at Yoongi's comment. His house has started to feel like a home, all thanks to Yoongi. So he's happy Yoongi feels the same way. 

“ Have you decided what you're gonna wear tonight?” 

Jimin asks, taking a seat on his bed, a strange package held in his hands. 

“ Since it's a party, I think a formal suit would be nice.” 

Yoongi replies as he takes a seat on the other bed which Jimin had set up to accommodate him. 

He starts to think of the options he has to wear for the party tonight. 

Jinuk has solved one of his big cases and to celebrate this achievement he's hosting a party in the house tonight. 

Since Jimin is Jinuk's son his presence is mandatory whether Jimin likes it or not. And since Jimin's presence is mandatory that means Yoongi's is too. So, he has to dress on the theme too. 

“ Well, I picked out something for you… but I don't know if you'll like it.” 

Jimin said with a shy smile, extending the package held in his hands towards Yoongi. 

Yoongi took it from Jimin's hands with butterflies in his stomach. He doesn't care whatever is inside the package, just the fact that Jimin brought something for him is enough to make him feel giddy. 

He'll wear it with a big smile even if it is a clown costume. 

Yoongi opens the package with utmost care, making sure that even the wrapping paper is in perfect shape. 

When he opened it he saw a luxurious suit set, along with a matching tie and cufflinks that had Yoongi's initials ‘MY’ engraved in them. 

Yoongi was stunned with the gift, it wasn't the price of the gift but Jimin's thought behind it that made Yoongi speechless. 

Seeing Yoongi motionless Jimin started thinking about the worst possibility where Yoongi didn't like his gift, the thought made him sad and his expression changed into a sad smile. 

But before he could say anything further, Yoongi unexpectedly tackled him in a big hug. 

Yoongi's force was so strong that they both fell onto the bed with Yoongi landing right on top of Jimin. 

Even in that position, Yoongi managed to support his weight onto his palms so that he wouldn't crush Jimin with his weight. Yoongi's face was just a few inches apart from Jimin's, and if Yoongi's arms were to give up, Yoongi's lips would undoubtedly make contact with Jimin's. 

But Yoongi would never do that, he would never do something that Jimin doesn't like. 

Jimin looked at Yoongi without blinking, his heart was beating too damn loudly, he was afraid Yoongi might hear his heartbeat. So he put a hand on top of his chest, to calm it down. But it just won't.
