30. the perfect son

Jungkook still had second thoughts about whether he made the right decision or not. As he looked at Jimin standing right beside him, he knew there's no benefit in rethinking now. They were here now and there was no way to go back out.

As they enter the large property, the guards start to appear. They were searched thoroughly many times on their way to the mansion. And even though Jungkook hated getting his time wasted, he knew picking a fight with the guards won't end well. He knows it way too well how the story would end then.

Maybe he'd have taken the risk if he was alone but he wouldn't be putting Jimin's life at risk. He wouldn't be able to face Yoongi if something happened to Jimin.

Jimin walked inside the property with a surprisingly calm demeanor. Even though his heart was pounding and the amount of weapons the guards were carrying terrified him, he still pretended like it didn't affect him at all. He tried his best to not look into their eyes because they all looked at him with such a gaze as if they were dying to kill him. And Jimin knew they were.

Jimin has grown up rich too but this was something straight out of a movie set, a horror one especially.
As they reach the big door, Jimin exhales a deep sigh, knowing his death is probably waiting for him on the other side of the door.

He could see Jungkook's eyes burning with rage. He felt his pain, Jungkook was afraid of his lover getting hurt.
But at least he could fight for him while Jimin couldn't even do that for Yoongi now. He wished he would have fought harder that day, then maybe he would be with Yoongi right now.

For now, he tried to keep the negative thoughts away. They walked inside to see the place filled with armed men, all dressed in black suits, carrying grim expressions.

In the middle of those guards sat a man on his big throne, with a lit cigarette pursued between his lips. A powerful aura emanating from him. As Jimin made eye contact with the man it sent a chill to his spine.

Jimin had never seen Yoongi's father before but he knew that the man in front of him was Min Wonil. Half of it was because of the similarities he shared with Yoongi and the other half of it was because he looked just as ruthless and scary as other people have described him to be.

Yoongi looked so much like Wonil, yet at the same time their personalities contrasted drastically. Yoongi was nowhere comparable to this monster. And Jimin loathed his father even more now, he hates how he compared Yoongi to a person like him.

Wonil threw the cigarette off on the floor, getting up to welcome his two guests. He looked at them with a smug look on his face as he crushed the cigarette beneath his feet. It was his subtle way of asserting dominance, as if he was saying- I'll crush you like this.

" Jungkook ah, welcome back home."
Wonil said with a chuckle as he started to walk towards Jungkook first.

Jungkook clenched his fist hard as he heard the man say his name. He hasn't come back to this house since he left for college. Yoongi had made him promise that he'd never return to this place ever again, but today he had to break that promise.

" And we finally have Jinuk's son here too."
He says now turning to Jimin. His laugh is vicious enough to make a chill run down people's spine. As Jimin looks at that man he can only remember Jungkook telling him about those disgusting things he did to Yoongi.
And it hurt him to even imagine those things, he couldn't believe how Yoongi bore it all alone. His heart fills up with rage, if he was alone with this man he'd have certainly killed him by now.

" Where's Taehyung ?"
Jungkook asked when he couldn't find his lover anywhere. There's a fear surfacing in his heart, and knowing Wonil he knows that fear can certainly come true. His heart wouldn't stop beating fast unless he saw his boyfriend in one piece.
