Mon and Sam were doing great in keeping up with the parenthood of life.

The couple found a way to balance their work life and caring for Zoe. They took turns with parenting duties and supported each other when one needed to attend to work commitments.

Sam had started dedicating more of her time to Zoe and Mon. She even sacrificed her weekends at her luxurious penthouse to participate in "family activities" with them despite it not being her turn to look after Zoe.

Just last week Sam prepared a weekend at one of her luxurious family home outise of town, for just them.

Mon was utterly taken aback by the unexpected offer at first. However, after a moment of initial surprise, she immediately sprang into action, gathering her belongings with a mix of excitement and anticipation. Meanwhile, Sam efficiently prepared Zoe and the car for their upcoming adventure.

Sam had thought of everything for the trip. She packed various tasty snacks for the car ride, including Zoe's favorites. She also prepared a selection of games to keep Zoe entertained during the journey and even a playlist with the kids' songs that Zoe liked.

Zoe behaved well during the car ride, which lasted about four hours. Throughout the journey, they made two stops to change her and allow her to stretch her legs. Meanwhile, Sam and Mon chatted about their work lives, Zoe's milestones, and their new life.

They also couldn't help but reminisce about their best friends, dearly wishing they were still present to share in the joyous moments.

After four hours, they arrived at the beach house - As soon as Sam got Zoe out of the baby car seat, the little girl started running around the driveway, getting some giggles out of the two ladies watching her.

It was safe to say that Zoe loved the house they would be staying in for the next three days.

Sam asked the older woman who takes care of the house to come over and help them while they were there. She wanted them to focus on Zoe and rest, so an extra hand was needed to organize, cook, and help them around the day.

After everything was settled, they enjoyed the food Ms. An had prepared. Soon after, they took advantage of the large pool at the house.

Little Zoe was having a great time running around.

The two women couldn't take their eyes off the little girl for even a second, as she might attempt something dangerous for a fourteen-month-old, like what she was doing now, trying to climb the large lemon tree in the garden.

Mon quickly ran to Zoe and grabbed her before she could fall to the ground. Mon's heart was racing. She had just stepped away to grab the life vest to put on Zoe before she could go into the pool.

Sam: What happened now?

Sam said as she stepped outside through the large sliding door that led to the spacious kitchen. Just a few seconds ago, she had darted inside to get the refreshing drinks that Ms. An had thoughtfully prepared for them. As she emerged into the open air, she noticed Mon walking slowly with little Zoe nestled at her side. Her audible panting indicated that the young toddler was likely up to something.

Sam placed the cold drinks on the small table, her gaze fixed on Mon as she made her way over. Using the pool chair as a temporary seat, Mon settled herself and gently placed Zoe on Sam's lap, the little girl giggling excitedly.

Sam: what were you up to, little one?

Zoe smiled and pointed to the lemon tree that she was trying to climb seconds ago, making Sam giggle.

Mon: I took my eyes off her for one second, Sam. One second!

Sam: She has just been naughty these days. Are you trying to give your Auntie Mon a heart attack?
