Sam and Mon have been doing well lately. While we still have their occasional disagreements, they're making progress and getting more comfortable with each other.

Zoe appears to be adapting to her new life and her new "parents." She seems noticeably happier and has started sleeping through the night most days - which Mon and Sam love.

Parenting was hard, but you can say Mon and Sam are doing a great job of managing their responsibilities. They are putting in a lot of effort to ensure that Zoe is raised well, especially now that the social worker is closely monitoring them.

They are finally getting the hang of caring for Zoe, and they are determined not to let anything come between them and their precious girl.

The little girl has truly become the most cherished and precious part of their lives.

Sam, who not too long ago only cared about her company and her sex life, has now found a new source of Joy in Zoe. However, she still enjoys her occasional time with her "friend" in her penthouse - which honestly has not happened a lot this past month due to the fact that she prefers being with Zoe at home. She enjoys waking up, feeding, and talking with her in the mornings. Little Zoe doesn't understand yet but fully support by smiling and giggling while Sam expresses herself.

In the span of a month, they've have seen a significant change in Zoe. The little girl took her first steps into the living room last week. It was a bittersweet moment. Though they were overwhelmed with joy to see the little girl achieve another milestone, they were also sad that her parents didn't get to celebrate or see this moment.

Flash Back on -

Mon: So I was thinking we should let Zoe continue her swimming classes.

Mon mentioned that while Sam was typing something on her laptop, it was a Friday evening, and usually, Sam would be at her house with someone. However, she is preferring to devote her time to Zoe. But was it only for Zoe?

She glanced across the room at Mon, who was crouched down, trying to entertain Zoe with colorful and interactive toys. Full of curiosity, the little girl stood eagerly in front of the couch, reaching out with tiny, determined hands, trying to grab hold of the playful toy Mon was showing her.

Sam: Sure, but we will have to figure out the schedule.

Mon: they have different times; we can arrange it accordingly so we both can take turns. But on her first day back, I thought we should go together.

Sam: that sounds good to me.

Sam nodded and focused on her laptop - what she didn't see was Mon's bright smile.

Mon was happy that Sam quickly agreed to join without any complaints. She usually would put up a fight before coming to terms with everything Mon decides. But Mon has seen some changes lately, and it makes her happy. Too happy!

She glanced at Sam for a bit longer. Sam was completely focused on whatever she was typing on her computer. Her eyebrows were knitted together in concentration, and she gently bit her bottom lip. Mon noticed that whenever she did that, she was lost in deep thoughts.

Lately, she found herself constantly stealing glances at Sam whenever they were together. She couldn't help but be captivated by Sam's features and the intricate details of her character. It was a perplexing feeling for her. Despite knowing Sam for years, she had never done this before; she used to do anything except admire Sam. I think it's probably because they are practically living in the same house while taking care of Zoe.
