Sam: Mon, let's go. We are going to be late.

The older woman stood at the foot of the long staircase, her voice echoing through the hallway as she called out, impatiently waiting for Mon to descend from the rooms above.

They were going for Zoe's swim lesson. This time, Sam made sure to arrange her work schedule properly so she wouldn't miss it. She was very excited to participate in what was going to be another of their family outing activities. Obviously, it was to see who this "Fah" girl was who insisted on " helping" Mon the last time she was there; of course, she was not going to mention that part to the other woman.

Ever since their delightful weekend retreat at the beach house, the days had been filled with joy and ease. With everything going so well, she was determined not to do anything to spoil it.

Mon and Sam have really embraced the feeling of family, as they have decided to share a room instead of taking turns at night with Zoe.

They have breakfast and Dinner together every day now. And Sam usually have lunch with Zoe due to Mon's schedule. However, there was a time when Sam drove with Zoe to Mon's shop so they could have lunch together. It's really hard keeping these two apart now.

And It's clear that  they are very affectionate with each other. Whether they're in a room or anywhere else in the house away from Zoe's sight, they can't seem to keep their hands off each other. Even when Mon has to leave for work, she makes sure to give Sam a goodbye kiss on the mouth and Zoe on her forehead before heading out.

As they navigated through their days, everything fell into place effortlessly, and they found themselves immersed in the simple joy of each moment without concerning themselves with societal expectations.

They were both aware of their unspoken understanding, allowing their feelings to develop organically without the need for labels.

Mon: Sam, do you have Zozo's bag?

Mon carefully descended the steps with Zoe happily perched on her hips. The little girl was dressed in a delightful swim set that Sam had lovingly chosen for her.

Sam: Everything is in the car, Mon.

Mon: Snacks?

Sam: Mon, I said everything. Now, can we just go? We are already late.

They both started walking towards the door that led to the garage.

Mon: Don't rush me!

She halted her movements, and Mon came to a stop. She gazed deeply into Mon's eyes, and a warm smile spread across her face as she leaned in to plant a tender kiss on Mon's forehead.

Sam: I am not, but I am sorry if it seems like I am. Let me take Zozo here, and you lock the doors.

Mon nodded and passed the little girl to Sam.

Mon never thought she would witness the day when Sam offered her a genuine apology. The depth of love and sincerity in her words overwhelmed her, leaving her with no room for complaint.

Twenty minutes later, they arrived at the swim school. Mon and Sam quickly changed into their bikinis, and as they met each other's gaze, it felt like a sudden heat wave had enveloped them. However, they were mindful of their surroundings, knowing Zoe was nearby. Despite their desire to be physically close, they tried their best to keep it together, at least until there were at the school.

Sam: We could skip today's swimming lesson. I don't think it would make much difference for Zoe.

As Sam approached Mon, she took each step slowly and deliberately. Mon stood before the large mirror in the family changing room, delicately fixing her hair. She glanced at Sam's approach, and a mischievous smile played on her lips.
