Part 24: A New Asset

The room wasn't very large but had multiple different terrains and areas inside. The most prominent was a plain terrain the other corners with more unique areas.

Multiple metal nails flew by as I analyzed the room. To the far right two figures seem to be in combat.

"Watch yourself until we're done here." Said one of the figures.

One of the boys fighting was covered in erratic and random metal pieces from head to toe. The other's body was oddly disfigured. Rough skin, eerily long limbs, and body parts.

"I'm sorry but I need to train too" I yelled back not acknowledging the other words.

"Just don't get hurt then" the other voice shouts.

I make my way over to an isolated corner with some trees for protection from the metal nails flying through the air.

I sit down and meditate bringing out some of my energy. An odd color comes out rather than the purple aura that's usually there.

A more clear potent energy erupts and It overwhelms my control.

The sounds of the battle stop from where the other two boys are in the room and their aura begins to come close.

"I don't have time for this right now" I sigh to myself before shutting down all the energy as abruptly as I can.

"Yo, what was that element kid?" A voice says from behind me.

I turned to see the boy who had the metal element. "Yeah, that presence was intense you wanna spar?" The other says coming from behind him.

"Nah, I'm just testing out a new weapon" I chuckle getting up to walk away from the confrontation.

"Oh really let us check it out." The one with the morph-like ability says walking towards me.

Now that they're closer to me I can see what they look like better. The one with the metal ability was still a little hard with the scraps covering his body, but he seemed to be pretty tall, with tan skin, and dark hair.

The other was on the shorter side without his element, dirty blonde hair and some scars up his pale arms.

I take the orb off of the chain on my hip and hold it facing the two.

"Woah," the shorter one says reaching out to touch it. A faint red glow could be seen coming from his finger into the orb.

I quickly pull it away. "I think that's enough I need to train now. I say dashing up deeper into the miniature forest.

"Hey, monster can you hear me?" I attempt to yell in my head but to no reply.

"What was that energy? I guess I'll just have to activate the weapon without my element." I think to myself.

With this material it would be a perfect fit to my perception ability but not this time.

I reduce the blockage of my energy letting a little of the power seep out directly from my hand into the orb and it changes color once again from purple to clear.

Before I could do anything the energy began to drain faster and faster until the ball began to expand little by little.

My body felt a little weak but it eventually came to a stop and shrunk back down to its normal size and color.

Slowly a chain link extended from the orb moving closer to my chest. When the chain reached my chest it instantly disappeared and a connection could be felt between me and the orb.

The thought of a sword popped into my head and a hilt and blade extended from the orb forming a purple sword.

"This is gonna be handy," I think to myself.
