The orb rebuilt in an instant into a blade with chains hanging from the hilt.
A fist flies towards my face but meets the blade throwing it off course.
The force of the blow knocks me back creating distance.
"You feel that energy coming from him?" a student says looking over and staring at the battle. "Yeah it's intense" another replies doing the same.
Sending energy to the tip of the I swung it in the direction of the humanlike machine. A wave of energy flies out fast, being dodged with ease.
Sending out two more slashes I use a burst of energy to increase my speed to flank an opening on my enemy.
Unraveling the chain on the blade I spin the blade gaining momentum and toss it towards it.
A slight movement allows the dummy to dodge all three attacks simultaneously while changing direction, rushing toward me once again.
"Back!" I yell stretching out my hand towards the blade and unnoticed to the dummy it comes rushing back piercing the machine in the back defeating it.
"Abusing its weakness, lack of intelligence."
"Impressive" Mr.Hong says with a smile. "That machine's power is based on how much altitude is put into them, and I put in a good amount."
"That wasn't his full power?" I almost let out.
Most of the class stopped their training to look at what was happening since the fight caused some decent damage to the area.
"It looks like you barely broke a sweat Kayui. Especially with that fancy new weapon of yours."
Little does he know I'm completely exhausted.
"Maybe we should spar next," He said walking toward me.
"Next time for sure," I said with an awkward laugh trying to control my breathing.
Walking towards a bench exerting energy to not show the reality that I'm fatigued. Just before getting there my body gave out nearly falling to my chest I caught myself on my knees.
"You have too much pride, It's okay to ask for help." strong energy resonates from the figure behind me, and the orb on my hip vibrates.
Modoru comes from behind me and helps me walk to the bench.
"Modoru what exactly is your element?" I said trying not to show weakness. His altitude has always bothered me slightly since we first met.
"Just wood conjurations, nothing special," he chuckles rubbing the back of his head with an embarrassed smile "Why'd you ask, it's pretty obvious by the way I fight."
"Oh, It's nothing," I say back with a forced smile. "Thank you,"
[A few hours later]
Deep into thought the sound of my phone buzzing brings me back to focus.
"What now," I sigh with annoyance.
"Yo," I say answering the phone. "Yeah, this is Makil. I need some help with something you mind. Meet us in the forest behind the staff quadrant at school tomorrow." He says in a worrying tone before a "beep" sounds.
"Even more on my plate then," I say before getting in bed.
Once again my phone goes off but I ignore it this time not willing to be bothered by anything else
Not even a second later a knock comes on my door before opening worsening my mood and attempt to sleep.
"Kayui don't you have a friend named Modoru? He's gone missing it's all over the news."
