That was what time it was currently in the city of Brisbane as the sun shined down from the sky and everyone enjoyed the beautiful afternoon weather. Shane, Chilli, and Brandy arrived home around 8 AM, just in time for breakfast having homemade pancakes with butter, bacon, and lastly scrambled eggs with Bandit and the girls.
Shane was outside in the backyard along with Bluey and Bingo playing a friendly game of soccer, or... what they call it here in Australia, football which Shane just now learned. Bingo had the ball as Bluey tries to go in and kick it away from her, so she could take it to her goal post and score, but to her surprise Bingo managed to have predicted her movement, moving to the side which made Bluey miss her kick, letting her younger sister and the ball to get away.
"Ah crackers." Bluey pouts, kicking the grass in defeat. Meanwhile Bingo kicked the ball straight ahead to the other goal post, she's getting closer to tasting victory until one problem began to get in her way, Shane appeared in her line of sight as he was ready to take the ball for himself but did so in a convincing way mainly because he wanted Bingo to win but didn't want to seem like he was just handing it over to her easily.
The young red heeler moved to her right like she did with Bluey, trying to flank him, however he did the same thing having a hunch she was going to do that, this made Bingo put on her serious face. The moment she got close enough to him, she moved to the left, kicking the ball underneath his legs as he tried to kick it. The second, the ball disappeared from his line of sight, he quickly turned around and saw she somehow got a hold of the ball again which left him surprised, he was clearly tricked.
"Darn I have been tricked." Shane said, pretending to be mad about being outsmarted by Bingo.
The young red heeler got closer to the goal post and used her leg to make a kick, one that would send the ball towards the goal net. Everything began to go in slow motion as the ball made its way there, however instead of it going into the goal as intended it hit the pole, bouncing off of it and landing onto the ground next to some flowers. This upset and frustrated the young orange heeler who couldn't believe the ball missed.
"Biscuits!" Bingo shouted, seeing the ball didn't go into the goal effectively, not scoring a point. She then breathed slowly wanting to catch her breath as Shane and Bluey came over wondering what happened and to catch their breath as well.
"Bingo what happened?" Bluey said, wondering why the ball wasn't in the goal post. "Yeah kid I thought you were shaping up for a good kick, however I see the ball is over there." Shane said as well while pointing at where the ball was. Bingo proceeded to explain. "My stategy didn't work, I did my plan correctly but I didn't score." Bingo uttered while trying to pronounce the word strategy which Shane found adorable, however he could tell she's upset and he needed to say something that would lift her spirit.
"You know, you did really good Bingo, yeah you didn't score the goal, but hey at least you tried." Shane said in an attempt to make her feel better. She thought for a moment about what he told her. It made her feel a bit better about the situation but not by much. "I know... but I just wish I could win at a game without it messing up, I know you can't win at everything but I would love to say I accomplished something, something that showed I tried and succeeded." Bingo replies.
"Maybe you will Bingo, give yourself another chance, I know your shining moment will come soon." Bluey told her with confidence. Bingo slightly smiled as there was now an immediate silence between the three as Shane stretched out his arms along with his legs before then wondering what they shall do now.
