Alana looked at herself and smiled at her outfit. She wore white button up, tucked into a black skirt, then added a green little vest. She tied her shoes until she got a call from Miguel.
She answered the FaceTime call and placed her phone onto her vanity, "Hey lani, what are you doing?" he asked, smiling as she put her earrings in. "Heading to my friend Sam's house she invited me. How do I look?" she asked moving so he could see, and he swore he almost melted.
"Lani you look gorgeous" he smiled, making her smile at him, "Thanks mig." "i better start heading over there, what are you gonna do?" Miguel looked down, "probably head to the dojo." Alana laughed, "I'll make sure to stop by after"
after that, they said their goodbyes and alana begin heading to Sam's house.

Alana got there early but she stood in front of the door, hesitating to knock on the door. "Ok. Ok. 'Hey Mrs. LaRusso, long time no see.' Shit no. Um, 'Hey Mr. LaRusso, how have you been?' Shit. Nope. Lana, you're going to be fine." She took a deep breath, finally knocking on the door. when the door opened she saw Amanda LaRusso.
"Alana. Hey, how have you been." Amanda said, hugging the girl. "I- Uhm, I've been good, sorry for being early." she said. Amanda shook her head, "nonsense, better being early than late. Come on in. Sam's getting ready." Alana smiled and followed the women into the kitchen where they saw Daniel LaRusso.
"Daniel, look who's here." Amanda said, Daniel turning to see Alana standing there, smiling awkwardly. "Hey, Alana." Daniel said, She chuckled, "hey Mr. LaRusso."
"It's great to see you again." He said, pulling her into a hug. "what have you been up too" "Uhm, not much. learning a bit of karate, but that's really it." She said with a shrug. Daniel immediately perked up, which Amanda noticed. "Oh no, you've just triggered him."
Alana chuckled, "oops, sorry Mrs. LaRusso." Daniel playfully rolled his eyes as the two began talking until they heard knocking at the front door. Amanda rushed over to the door and opened it.
"Oh! You must be Kyler! Come on in!" Amanda's voice rang, Alana tensed up and Daniel noticed. "Hey, Alana, are you ok?" He asked, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine." She lied
"Kyler, this is Sams dad, Daniel. And this is her friend, Alana." Amanda introduced, Kyler shook Daniels hand with a smile before his eyes fell on the girl. She grinned, "hey, Kyler."
"Cherry, hey." He smirked as he saw her demeanor change, but so did Daniel. "Cherry?" The man asked.
Kyler and Alana looked at him, but before the girl could respond, Kyler quickly said, "Don't worry, Mr. LaRusso. It's just a nickname we call her, right Alana." The girl glared at him and then nodded, "yeah." Sam walked into the kitchen. "Oh, hey!" She exclaimed happily, pulling Alana into a hug before doing the same to Kyler.
