Alana, Miguel and the rest of the Eagle Fangs were standing in a line as they watched Johnny. Alana was wearing a beige colored long sleeve shirt and some dark red jean shorts. She was standing with her arms crossed as Miguel had his hand in her back pocket. A habit he has been doing since they started dating.
"This is the worst thing that could've happened. Skills competition, bullshit. Kata isn't karate. It's dancing." Johnny paced in front of his students. "What's this girls' division? Thought they were all about women's lib. They ought to man up and take a punch like the rest of us." Johnny said.
Alana tilted her head at the man as Miguel cleared his throat. Johnny looked at the couple. "No offense." Johnny said making the girl sigh.
"Sensei, it sounds like we could use some more female students." Miguel said, Alana and him made eye contact, she tilted her head slightly as he shrugged at his girlfriend. "Fine!" He complained, looking around the boys. "Do any of you know any girls?" The room couldn't have been more quieter. "Of course you don't." He muttered. "There's this girl from the debate team." Bert said. Johnny's eyebrows furrowed. "Debate team? We need killers, not more nerds!"
Johnny turned to Alana. "Chambers?" He asked. Alana shrugged, "not any that wanna get punched in the face for fun." She said. Johnny sighed, "All right, go run some laps. Maybe it'll jog your memories." He muttered, "Try not to breathe too much. There's black mold in the corner." He said
Alana and Miguel watched him walk to another side of the room. Alana cleared her throat, "So, more female students?" Alana asked the boy. He sighed.
"Lani, i know that you're the strongest fighter, Sensei knows it too. But it wouldn't hurt." He smiled to her. She looked up at him and sighed. Call it overthinking but Alana didn't think they needed anymore girl fighters. Not trying to sound rude or anything but she thought everyone would treat her like she was before her injury.
"and this has nothing to do with anything else?" She looked down. Miguel immediately knew what she meant. He grabbed her hands and pulled her closer. "Lani, it's you and me. i love you, and it's always you. always and forever, mi amor." Miguel said making the girl smile as tears brimmed her eyes. Alana nodded as she pulled the boy into a kiss. Her hands on the sides of his neck while his hands sat on her sides. When they pulled away Miguel pulled his girlfriend into a hug and she layed her head on his chest.

Johnny Lawrence has had many stupid ideas in his time of being a Sensei. But this one was the most stupid in Alana's opinion. Johnny forced the couple to go with him to help recruit some girls for the team. So he took them to the Schools field where the team's practice.
"this is it. this is where most of the girls' teams practice." Miguel said as him, Alana, and Johnny walk onto the grassy fields. "You sure you'll be able to convince them?" Alana said. "Please. when i went to this school, the only thing i was better at than karate, and i was pretty good at karate, was talking to chicks." Johnny said as he patted Miguel's chest. "Watch and learn, Diaz. Watch and learn." He said before walking away.
