Alana stood with Sam and Amanda with her arms crossed. She was gonna hang out with Miguel but he was with Daniel. So somehow she got dragged into coming to a kids birthday party with Sam.
"Did I really have to come to this?" Sam asked. Alana sighed, putting her hands in her jean skirt pockets. Amanda chuckled. "Uh, Shelia's worked for us for ten years. She's practically family. Anyway, you used to love to babysit Cindee." Amanda replied.
"That doesn't change the fact that this is just about the last place I'd like to spend my Saturday." Sam scoffed as Alana looked at her. "A lot of people have it worse than you." Amanda stated. Sam just stared at her mom as Alana groaned, "Ima need a drink cause of this."
The kids immediately started cheering when they saw the women that were dressed up as mermaids, Sam and Alana glance at each other when they see Tory. "Holy shit." Alana said as Sam smiled brightly. "Did I say the last place I want to spend my Saturday? I meant the first." She said, staring at Tory with a smirk. Alana glanced at the two, "Definitely need a drink." she muttered as Tory made eye contact with them.

While Sam went to bother Tory, Alana actually did get a drink. She stood off to the side, drink in hand when Sam came up to her. "No way." Sam laughed as she saw the cup. Alana shrugged, "Well, i'm a woman with needs." They laughed before they heard, "Die, evil witch!" A bunch of kids shouted, throwing cups of glitter all over the two girls. Sam and Alana gasped, they looked at each other. Sam looked up at Tory and Alana looked down at her drink that was now covered with glitter.
"Damn it." she muttered before feeling an arm wrap around her. "Hey beautiful, Sam." Miguel said as the girls turned to him. "What happened to y'all," He said looking between them. "We decided to dress like disco balls." Alana joked which made Sam and Miguel laugh, unaware that Tory was watching with a glare. "I need to get a new drink. I'll be right back." Alana said before placing a kiss on Miguel's lips.
Sam turned to see Tory glaring at Alana, so she turned to Miguel, "How're you and Lana doing? After everything?" Sam asked making Miguel and Tory turn to her. Miguel smiled and looked down, "She's amazing, I hate that it took me so long to understand that she's been there right in front of me since I met her." Sam glanced to see Tory pissed, "She really loves you. And I can tell you really love her." Sam said, "I do, yeah." He said before turning to see Alana walk up to them wiping some glitter off of her.
Sam turned to see Tory storming out the room. Sam smiled the entire time, before turning to the couple.

Alana and Miguel were at Alana's house. She was finding some clothes to wear while Miguel was laying on her bed.
Alana changed into some light blue pants and a dark blue long sleeve shirt. When she went to her room she saw Miguel on his phone. "Hey." she said. Miguel looked up and smiled, "Lani, beautiful as ever." he said as he sat up and pulled her by her belt loops. "Hawk said he's on the way, He'll call." Alana nodded and leaned in for a kiss.
