Alana got out of her house and locked the door behind her when she heard her name get called. She turned around to see Miguel with a big smile.
"Lani! i missed you!" He said picking her up and spinning her around. "You saw me earlier at school silly?" She laughed. "Well yeah. But that was hours ago." He pouted.
"So what did you do at Sam's house?" He asked. "Huh?" She told, not remembering if she did tell him or not. Miguel played it off, "Sam told me." He shrugged with a grin. "Oh- well, nothing much. Just had dinner with her and her family, along with a family friend. But he just works for Mr. LaRusso." She replied making Miguel slowly nod.
"Aisha wants to crash Yasmine's party at the beach with the other Cobras, you wanna to come?" Miguel asked breaking the silence. "Mig, You know I don't do parties." She replied. "Please. It'll be fun, I promise." He begged. alana sighed knowing he would keep asking her. "Fine."
The two realized they were close together and slowly stepped back. Miguel cleared his throat awkwardly. "Well, I'm meeting up with some of the group at the store. Hawk is trying to buy us some beer. Wanna come?" Miguel offered, with a smile. she laughed and shrugged. "Sure."

The two walked to the store and met up with Bert, Hawk, Aisha, and some other kids. They all ran inside while Miguel and Alana decided to wait outside. Miguel kept checking his phone and sighing. "What's wrong?" she asked. "Has Sam responded to you?" "Not really, why?" "I kinda got mad at her today and I've been trying to talk to her but she hasn't been responding." "that's weird. Maybe she got grounded, Mrs. LaRusso always takes her phone? Sam wouldn't just not respond if there wasn't a reason." alana tried to reassure. Miguel hesitated to nod, but he did. "Yeah, I guess."
Soon the group came out. "You guys ready?" Miguel asked. Hawk held up the bottles of Vodka and beer with a smirk. "Let's party."

The party was in full, there was a lot people, and honestly, alana didn't know who most of them were.
Miguel kept checking his phone, getting more frustrated. Alana kept trying to reassure him but he ignored it. Aisha came over to the group and gave Miguel a sympathetic look. "Still nothing?"
"Nope." Miguel angrily said, shoving his phone into his pocket. "Maybe her phone died." Aisha reasoned, "Whatever. Let's just get the party started without her." Miguel stated, reaching over to the cooler.
He pulled out a beer and examined it before twisting the cap off and taking a big drink. He groaned in disgust, making Aisha laugh. Miguel shrugged before taking another big drink, finishing the beer. Alana looked at him worried.
Night had fallen and Miguel had already downed two beers. Alana was getting more worried as he stumbled for another one, slurring his words when Aisha tried to talk to him. Alana went up to her, "Still?" Aisha sighed "yep, do you think her phone got taken up? What parent still does that?"
