Alana walked into the dojo with Miguel. "I don't know Mig, I just don't trust him." Alana said to him. "I don't like how he looks at you." Miguel said. "you worry about me?" alana smiled up at him. "Always mi amor." He replied making them laugh together.
Alana went into the locker room to change, As she was putting her hair in a high ponytail she heard a voice behind her. "Alana right? can we talk?" Tory asked. "Sure, Tory. What's up?" She questioned.
"I-uh- wanted to apologize about the whole thing at the beach. Aisha let me know that she told you what happened and she told me Sam is your best friend and, I just don't want us to be rivals if we're in the same dojo" Tory explained.
"No. Don't worry, Tory I don't blame you, Sam knew what she did was wrong so," Alana said with a small smile. "So we're good?" "Yeah, of course." The two girls side hugged then left to the main room.
"Alright everyone, sit in a circle. Me and Sensei Kreese are going to do some demonstrations." Johnny instructed as he and Kreese walked out of his office.
Johnny went to throw a punch but Kreese grabbed his arm and pulled him forward, wrapping his free arm around Johnny's throat. "Ok, pay attention. He's got my neck, I've got his elbow." Johnny panted as he struggled against Kreese's chokehold. "If I try to break out..." "I dig in and I put him to sleep." Kreese finished, bring the hand that was gripping Johnny's arm up to the arm around his throat, tightening his hold. "If I go for his ribs..." Johnny started, bringing his elbow back, making Kreese let go. "He completely exposes his chest." Kreese finished. "Two difficult choices. What do you do?" Johnny asked as he got back into Kreese's choke hold. Johnny's eyes darted around the students but no one answered.
Johhny brought his foot back and kicked Kreese's leg making both men fall to the ground. "You damn the consequences and you power forward," Johnny stated, getting off the ground. "You may get hurt, but nobody wins by doing nothing," Kreese added as he rose to his feet. "You make a choice. You make a move. You go...all in." Johnny stated.

After stopping at Miguel's apartment for his laptop, the two of them met up with the others at the mall. Alana and Miguel decided to sit at their own table while Tory, Aisha, and Moon, sat at a table not too far from them.
"So why the laptop?" Alana asked. "I'm gonna make something to get Sam back." He replied.
"Are you sure, Mig? I hate to say she's moved on." Alana stated, "Yes, I'm sure." He retorted. Alana grabbed his hand. Miguel looked up from his computer and stared at her.
At the other table, Moon was showing Aisha some picture on her phone while Tory was watching Alana and Miguel. Tory developed a crush on Miguel.
"Hey, are they together?" Tory asked Aisha, nodding towards the two. Aisha bit her lip, She loved alana but maybe Tory was just genuinely curious. "Ok don't say anything but, Alana's liked Miguel since they met. Thing was he was stuck on Sam to notice, recently though, I think she's finally getting the guts to tell him."
Tory looked over at the two once more. They were smiling at each other, it was obvious that they liked each other. Tory didn't want to hurt Alana, they just became friends. Tory knew that this could affect Alana and as much as Tory wanted a friend she wanted Miguel's attention more. She reached into her cup and pulled an ice cube, throwing it at Miguel. Miguel looked at her annoyed. "Hey come on." He groaned, letting go of Alana's hand.
"Oops. Must've slipped out of my hand." Tory said sarcastically. Miguel just rolled his eyes before turning back to his computer. "What are you even doing over there?" Tory asked. "Going all in," Miguel muttered as he continued working.
"Mig." Alana said making the boys attention go to her, "Yeah?" she breathed in, "I know that you may still like sam, but, there's something I have been wanting to tell you." Miguel stared at her a smile forming on his face. "yeah," he said softly, she smiled back, "Mig, i really really like-"
"You want the rest of this brownie sundae? Not gonna lie to you I ate most of the brownie and the whipped cream and most of the fudge." Tory said, coming out of nowhere cutting Alana off.
"So you saved me the melted ice cream?" Miguel questioned. "Yeah, the best part," Tory replied, setting the plate down. Miguel just shook his head before turning back to Alana who was staring at Tory, "What were you say?" he said smiling at her again, "Uhm, can you come over later?" Alana said, Miguel nodded, "Alright uhm, i better get going now, but bye mig. You too Tor" She said.
She got out of her seat and walked away. Tory smiled, shes got Miguel, though she felt a little guilty, she shrugged it off.

alana was making her some food when she heard her door open, she turned to see miguel.
"when i gave you a key to my home I didn't think you'd try and break in." she said making him laugh.
"Lani guess what." he said with a big smile, "Tory kissed me! and i didn't even think about Sam!" He said grabbing her hands.
Alana stopped, her smile fell and she felt her eyes water, "that's amazing, are yall together now?" she said with a fake smile, "Shit i forgot to ask her about that. What did you want to tell me earlier?"
she paused, shaking her head and chuckled, "You know, I forgot." he laughed, "Alright then, if you remember let me know, bye Lani." he hugged her then left.
She was stuck in her place. Her tears now spilling down her face. Her mind fogged. She went to her room and looked through her drawers to find the box of cigarettes that her dad left.
She always told herself that she wasn't going to do anything stupid. That included smoking, but right now. That's all she had, she grabbed a lighter and lit her cigarette up, inhaling and then blowing smoke out. She sat on her floor and cried, that's all she felt like doing.
she had this happen before, and now it's repeating itself. That night, she finished half the box of cigarettes.

also i just wanna say ik that getting addicted to smoking is a real thing but it is also a way people cope. so if you don't like the idea of her smoking than u can ignore that but i think it adds more to her story.
