alana and miguel were currently in the dojo practicing punches. "Hey, you guys don't happen to have any friends who wanna learn karate do you?"
The two didn't answer, "Oh, what am I saying? You don't have any friends." Johnny said, alana tilted her head and Miguel turned to Johnny. "Hey, sensei, when are we going to learn how to do some kicking? I saw a YouTube video of a guy breaking boards and it looked badass." Miguel asked, "Yeah, no shit. kicking is badass, but you guys aren't ready."
"Besides If I don't get more students in here i won't be able to teach you guys anything." Johnny said, "you've thought of advertising right?" alana asked, "yeah, duh, of course." Johnny replied making both teens exchange glances

"Cyberbullying is no laughing matter, sending a cruel message to someone online can be just as hurtful as saying this to their face." Counselor Blatt said during lunch. "I'm not going to name names, but the other day a mother called me up because her son was crying, after reading some kids online made fun of his facial deformity." She said, everyone looking at Eli, who brought his hand up to his mouth, feeling embarrassed. "But today, our goal here is to make this school a safe space for our students."
Miguel looked to Eli, "If you're sick of getting bullied, our karate dojo's looking for recruits." Miguel said, alana nodded with a smile.
"Yeah right. You hear that Eli? A little karate training and you're gonna kick some major ass." Demetri mocked. Alana and Miguel glanced at each other and sighed. "we're serious D, our sensei is the real deal. we can get you both discounts." alana said.
"As enticing at that sounds, I think we'd rather spend our afternoons playing crucible control then getting hit in the face." Demetri told, going back to his food.
Miguel looked at alana annoyed, but she just smiled at him and shrugged making him smile
"One last thing. While we're all looking forward to the Halloween dance, let's make sure our costumes are culturally sensitive. For example, instead of "sexy nurse" how about "gender neutral hospital employee."
"you gotta be kidding me." alana said throwing her head back.

After school Miguel and alana stood in front of the dojo waiting for Johnny. Johnny pulled up, "Hey sensei, you told us to be here at 5, right?" Miguel asked as Johnny unlocked the doors.
"Yeah, but today's training is canceled." He said, going inside, "What? Why?" Alana asked. "Cause I said so." He answered as the teens exchanged looks
"Sensei, wait there's something we want to show you." Miguel said as he unzipped his backpack. "Look i'm really not in the mood." Johnny replied, getting a beer. "But we think you'll like it." Alana sang out, Johnny turned to her.
Miguel typed the website. "It's a cobra Kai web page, right. We made it in study hall." Miguel explained as he hovered the mouse over the logo. "Click on the snake."
