"Hey." Alana said as she sat next to Miguel and Tory. "How's the eye?" Tory asked, looking at the faded bruise. "fine." Alana replied with a shrug. "Well, I think you look badass." Miguel said which made the girl laugh.
"Tory was telling me that there's an 80's night at the roller rink on Friday. We're going as a date but you should come." Miguel stated. "Sorry Mig, not a fan of third wheeling. Besides i don't even know how to skate." "You won't be third wheeling. It'll be fine, right Tory?" Miguel asked turning to the girl.
Tory rolled her eyes. "Yeah, of course." she said with a fake smile but Alana noticed with a slight nod.
"Everybody fall in!" Johnny instructed, As everyone was walking Hawk grabbed Alana's hand, "hey, i'm sorry about your eye, but Cobra Kai for life, right?" He asked. "of course..." She replied. Hawk smiled at her and pulled her into a hug.
"Today, we'll be learning one of the most important lessons a Cobra Kai could ever know," Johnny stated. "Where's Sensei Kreese?" Hawk asked. "Yeah. Shouldn't we wait for the sensei emeritus before we get going?" Stingray questioned. "Mr. Kreese will no longer be joining us," Johnny replied.
"I made a promise when I became your sensei. To always look out for your best interests. Despite how hard this may be for all of us, he didn't have our best interests at heart. John Kreese may have founded Cobra Kai, but he no longer represents what this dojo stands for. His Cobra Kai was old and outdated. He refused to move forward. What happens when we do that, Mr. Diaz?" Johnny asked, glancing at Miguel.
"You get stuck like cement." He replied, looking down. "Exactly. To be a great fighter, you gotta learn to adapt."
Johnny turned towards the wall. "This creed on the wall...Follow it to the letter, it'll make you strong. It'll make you formidable. It will also make you an asshole. 'Cause, that's just black paint on a white wall. But life's not black and white. More often than not, it's gray. And it's in those gray areas where Johnny Lawrence's Cobra Kai...sometimes shows mercy. Doesn't mean you can't be badass. It's still a requirement. But you have to learn to think, not just with your guy...or your fists...but to really use this." Johnny said, pointing to his head.

Miguel and Alana walked into the office "Sensei?" Miguel said. "Just tuck in your chin and aim for the nose with the crown of your head. It's not that hard." Johnny explained. "No, it's not about headbutting. I think we got that down. It's about Sensei Kreese." Miguel said
"What about him?" "I know he's your friend, so if you wanna talk..."
"You don't have to worry about me. Besides, you should be focused on that girlfriend of yours. "
"You know about that?" Miguel questioned. "I'm not blind. Just don't get too distracted. You can play hide the plantain on your own time. But in class I need you focused." He replied "Yes sensei," Miguel responded with a chuckle.
