"Sensei!" Alana called out. "Come in." He yelled out, she open the door and found Johnny fixing his tie, she chuckled. "Hey, didn't know you owned a suit." "To be honest, neither did I." He replied.
"Are you nervous for your meeting?" "I'm not nervous, I'm pissed off!" He told back. "Ok, but you're gonna have to be nice. So if you get pissed off, what are you gonna do?" she asked "I don't know, I usually just punch the guy."
Alana sighed, "that's not gonna work, how about, when someone makes you angry take a breath and make a fist like you're gonna punch them, but don't." she told with a smile.
"Hold it in? I could try." Johnny walked over to his counter and picked up a briefcase. "Ooh! Briefcase. What's inside?" alana asked.
Johnny opened to reveal it was empty. "Nothing. Found it in the dumpster." He replied proudly. she chuckled. "Nice touch." "Thanks."
"have fun on your date with Diaz." he said making Alana tilt her head in confusion. "date with Miguel?" She asked. "He mentioned he had a date tonight." He replied. "he does, but not with me."
"Oh. Who did he ask out then?" "a friend of mine." She said with a fake smile.
"Oh. shit." He said.
Alana shrugged. "It's whatever. ill probably just hang out with Robby," She replied. Johnny's eyes widened for a second before he played it off. "Robby?" "your son." She told smiling Johnny nearly choked on his spit. "How do you that?!" He exclaimed. "Robby might've told me." She said
A silence fell between them. "Sensei is it ok if i stop by at the dojo." He nodded, "of course." She smiled, "have fun at the meeting."
After she left his apartment Miguel noticed her and smiled. "Hey Lani!" He said, walking up to her. "Hey, Mig." She said. "I'm so excited." "That's good. what're y'all doing ?" "going to this place called Golf N Stuff. Sensei recommended it, said he used to take all his dates there"
"of course he did." they laughed, "He didn't like my chocolate, picnic, stargazing idea." Miguel stated, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I think it was romantic." She said with a shrug. Miguel smiled at her and the two just stared at each other. Miguel's eyes flickered to Alana's lips making her blush.
They both slowly leaned in when a ding was heard, breaking them apart. Miguel pulled out his phone to see a text. "That's Sam, I've gotta go. I'll tell you everything when I get back." He said excitedly.
"Can't wait," Alana mumbled as Miguel pulled her into a quick hug before running off.

A couple minutes later she got home and texted Robby to ask if he was busy, turns out he was. She then asked Hawk, Aisha, and Demetri. But they were all busy too. She then went to the dojo.
