As I gather the weed and rolling papers, he sits down and sighs as he picks up a hunting knife "How long have you been working with the Sanctuary?"
She takes in a deep breath before telling him "We made contact, recently. Last month. I don't know anything."
Loki hums, before I step towards the chair next to his. I watch him slide the knife over her thigh. As they stare each other down, he remarks "I know you're lying."
She sets her jaw, before looking down at the blood pouring down her thigh "I know you're better than this."
He sets his jaw and asks "Do you want me to hurt you?" His soft accent shines heavily through his words he leans back against the chair, as he sits on the edge. His ankles cross lazily over one another as if trying to portray he's relaxed. I can see his demeanor is staged.
She smirks at him and I can see him tool with her silence. He looks to me and states "I want you to keep rolling tonight." I give a short nod and he gives me a tired look "I've got to."
I give a soft smile, before he gives me a side smile and stands. He sighs as he stands, before looking at her and declaring "If you know who I am, you know me as The Variant. You know exactly what I can do to people, so why are you here?"
He tosses a large orange sponge in the bucket of water, and she watches him with a hint of confusion on her face. As he pulls out a long pair of rubber gloves, she huffs "I'm disappointed in you."
He scoffs at her "Why is that?"
As he pulls on a glove, she remarks "You were a legend. You were an absolute legend, and then The Chemist took you, and now look at you! You're soft!"
As he pulls on his other gloves, he asks "Are you done?" She gives him a confused look and he turns around "Here's how this is going to go."
I watch in a slight hint of amusement as he picks up the jumper cables and states "I am going to electrocute you as many times as it takes to get the information I want out of you."
As he attaches the cables, he remarks "I have other fun ideas, but I'm giving you a chance to rat before I start surgically removing limbs and cauterizing with a blow torch."
As he grabs the sponge with the cables, he asks "What is the purpose of you being here?"
She smirks at him, before he places the sponge on her abdomen. She screams in shock as she absorbs the shock.
After a solid ten seconds, Loki removes the sponge and wets it. He asks "Why are you here?"
She looks up at him and chuckles through the pain. She smirks "There he is!"
He grabs the sponge and hooks it back up to the battery. He tosses it back in her lap and she screams out. I look at him to find him fighting himself.
As he tosses the sponge back into the bucket, she pouts "Are you holding back because of your boyfriend?"
He bites his lip, before declaring "Not in the least."
I see my opening and ask her "How do you know him?" Loki glares at me and I declare "I don't know the Loki you know him as. Tell me more."
She smirks at me "I first heard of him eighteen months ago. He's The Variant."
Loki gives me a sad look, before he turns to avoid the conversation "He told you about the others, right?"
I shake my head and she smirks "He and four other kids were apart of this experience. All of them had the same name, like some type of control panel."
I look towards Loki's to find his posture is hard. He's tortured.
