Sometime around ten, everyone decided to start settling in for the evening. Natasha and I were the last two up, and I haven't let my eyes wander from Loki. She sighs "Thor, you should take your meds and go to bed."
I give her a stern look and she remarks "You strangled your sister because you had a nightmare. I don't want to hurt you, defending myself, alright?"
I look at her for the first time in five hours, only to glare "I'm not moving, Natasha. I don't want to go anywhere, but right here."
She takes a deep breath, before stepping down the hall, only to return with a medication cup and a water bottle. She opens my bag and I hear her opening up the pill bottles. She returns with my meds in the cup and water bottle, only to insist "Take your fucking meds, Thor!"
I narrow my gaze at her, only to down the pills and take a drink of water to wash them down. She gives me a tired smile "Now go to bed, before you pass out and I have to lift your ass into bed."
I sigh "I don't want to leave his side. What if he wakes up before I do?"
She gives me a tired sigh, before declaring "I'm going to be staying here, tonight. I'll keep him company if you don't wake up when I try to wake you."
I give her an unsure look, but she orders "Go to bed, Thor."
Reluctantly, I cross over to my bed and lay back.
The last thing I remember was curling up in the blanket.

The following morning, I roll over on the crisp white linen in a haze of sedation. When I look around the room, I find Tony Stark, Natasha, and The Grandmaster laughing about something while staring at me.
I sit up in a haze and yawn "What time is it?"
Natasha sighs as she checks her watch "Almost ten. You've been asleep for eleven hours."
I furrow my brow as I scratch my head "Is Loki awake, yet?"
The Grandmaster chuckles on the way towards the door "We've been talking to him for awhile, now. I just stopped in to say welcome back."
He holds a folder under his arm. I watch him get on the elevator and disappear, before I stand up and pop my back "Why didn't anyone wake me?"
Natasha scoffs "I tried. You were out."
I furrow my brow and she motions Tony out of the room. She follows shortly behind, reassuring "We're going to give you two some privacy."
I give her a weak smile, only to step over to his bed and take a seat at the chair.
As I look him in the eyes, I find a look of longing and desire. I smile down at him, only for him to smile up at me.
His beautiful green eyes entrap me, once again, and I feel at home, for the first time since Jordan. I take a deep breath, before whispering down at him "I love you, so much." He smiles at me and I squeeze his hand in mine. The brace on his neck keeps him from moving and I rest his hand on my cheek as I whisper "I'm so glad you're alive."
He looks at me, proudly "You look handsome as ever." He brushes his fingers over my cheek and states "I'm so happy that you survived, darling."
I take a deep breath, before declaring "I missed you."
He gives me a sad smile "I know. I missed you, too." He smiles "I'm surprised you kept the arm, though. I thought that was a goner."
I scoff at him, only to remark "I could say the same thing about your leg."
