"It still hasn't come?" Ellie asks as a member of her new staff does her hair.

"No, Your Majesty, no mail yet." She sighs. "They only get later every day."

Ellie sighs, playing with her fingers as she thinks. Her test results should be here by now. She already interviewed with her Father and all she needs now is the test score. He hired her a lady's maid and cooking/cleaning staff now that she can do whatever she wants and she's already made friends with them.

They were very stiff at first, wanting to go exactly by the book of how to help Ellie. But now, they've even gotten to the point of chatting with Ellie. They haven't dropped the formalities just in case but they even told Ellie about drama happening with the Seraphim they overheard.

It's weird having people waiting on you twenty-four-seven. Her lady's maid, Angelica, is always on top of things. As soon as Ellie's ready to start the day, she helps her get ready and has every other member of her staff ready too. It makes her sad when she remembers going through the same adjustment at Lucifer's place.

Angelica keeps braiding her hair as she thinks about it. A part of her is still in denial that he's back with Lilith. Because Lucifer was never that cruel and it's shocking that he is all of a sudden. And to add more insult to injury, he'll randomly compliment her as if he knows he was being a dick.

She knows she doesn't need him but her heart still wants him. Not this new him but who he was before this. It's annoying that she got tossed to the side for someone who left him for almost a decade. And Lilith has always been jealous so she got just what she wanted.

Ellie's kindness to Lilith is what kills her even more. She was so nice and she tried to give her a chance. She knew Lilith was still being an asshole and being rude but for some reason, she didn't give up on helping her. It was stupid and maybe Ellie is too, no matter what she says. She insists she's not stupid but a smart person wouldn't push their boyfriend into the arms of his ex.

"It's here!" Another maid bursts through the door with a letter in hand and a few others follow just behind her.

"The scores?" Ellie immediately shoots up and begins to walk over to the woman.

She quickly hands over the paper and Ellie practically rips it open. It feels agonizingly slow as she tries to unfold the paper and get her hands to stop shaking so she can read it. And when she sees the scores, she immediately gasps before looking around at everyone with a wide smile.

"179!" Ellie cheers.

She stands up and immediately opens a portal to her Father's office. He's looking at a stack of papers as she walks in and slams the letter on his desk as the portal behind her closes.

"179!" She yells before immediately jumping up and down.

"179? As in 1-7-9?" He asks with a smile.

"Almost thirty more points than what I needed," Ellie tosses herself into the chair across from his desk. "Is it mine?"

"Button," He sighs. "I had faith in you all along. You've earned this."

"You mean...?" Ellie's eyes widen as she realizes what he's saying.

"Yes, Ellie. You're officially the ambassador between Heaven and Hell," He smiles warmly, pride evident in his eyes. "The title doesn't matter since it's just added to you being Princess but you scored higher than everyone else who took that test."

Ellie feels a rush of emotions—relief, joy, and a sense of accomplishment. She leaps up from the chair, throwing her arms around her father in a tight hug.
