Chapter 8 The Road Trip

I felt somebody playing with my hair. It was calming and made me relax. I opened my eyes to come face to face with Ash. He was smiling down at me, "good morning K," I smiled at my nickname and said, "good morning, where are we?" I asked sitting up and looking out the window

There was mountains all around me, "we should be in Utah? I think? Felix had to go to the store to get something, and he didn't want to wake you. So I decided to keep you company," he said smiling at me

"Why are we in Utah?!" I asked turning to face Ash, "my parents are probably freaking out!" I pulled out my phone, but I didn't see any missed calls or texts messages.

"Felix already talked to your parents," Ashe said grabbing my hand, "it's okay," I nodded my head

"I'm going to stretch my legs," I said getting out of the car. Ash soon followed me out of the car and stood next to me. I looked out the corner of my eye to see Ash looking at me intently.

"What are you looking at?" I asked Ash turning to him. He looked embarrassed to be caught looking at me

"I can't help it," he said stepping closer to me, "you're to beautiful," I stepped backwards and hit the car, "are you nervous, Nikki?" He asked with a small smirk on his face.

I let out a shaky breath, "N-No," I stuttered. Which only proved his point that I was nervous. He stepped closer to me, making our chest touch. I felt his breath come closer to me, "You want me," he whispered in my ear, "and I want you." He kissed my ear, and started nibbling on my earlobe

I bit my lip to hold back a moan, "Ash," I whispered huskily. He pulled back looking at me with hunger and list in his eyes, "we can't," he smirked at me

"I like a challenge," he said kissing my neck. I tilt my head back to give him more area to kiss. I gripped his hair and he groaned with pleasure. "You make me crazy, Nikki," he said. I pushed him away and jumped into his arms. I kissed his lips with as much hunger and passion as he was kissing me. Everything that happened a few hours before faded away, I forgot about Sam and about him trying to kill Ash and me.

All I thought about was Ash. I thought about, his smile, his personality, and just the way he can light up a room! I pulled away from him, but placed my forehead against his, "wow...," was all I could say

Ash smiled and put me down onto the ground, "see I knew you would fall for me,"

"Well I cou-," I was cut off by someone clearing their throat behind us. I stepped away from Ash and saw Felix staring at us with shock in his eyes, "Felix," I said

"Nikki, Ash, what's going on here?" He asked staring at Ash and I. My eyes widened, I looked back at Ash. I saw he was smirking at Felix. I turned to face Felix, "nothing," I said

"That didn't look like nothing," Felix said, pointing at Ash and I. Ash grab my hand, "why do you care so much?" Ash asked Felix

"Because this is Nikki we're talking about Ash. She doesn't need to be thrown into your crappie life," Felix said walking to me. Ash jaw clenched, I have his hand a little squeeze. Felix grabbed my other hand and moved me away from Ash.

Ash looked at me and than Felix, he lunged for Felix. Felix pushed me out of the way, I tumbled to the ground hitting my head on the cold cement. I opened my eyes and saw Felix and Ash in a full out boxing match. I got up quickly, "Ash stop!" I pleaded to him

He didn't stop he kept throwing punches at Felix. In an instant Felix flipped so that Ash was on bottom now, "Felix, stop!" He looked at me. He let go of Ash and stood up. He ran his fingers through is hair. Ash got up and walked to the store
