Chapter 10 Home Again

Day 1:

We arrived back at the house in a matter of hours. Felix was speeding the whole way, but hey I don't care I'm just glad that I'm finally home! It was 3 in the afternoon when we finally got home, I grabbed my bags and got out of the car. I told the guys to leave because my parents didn't know that Samantha (aka: Sam), and Charlie didn't come with us. I dragged my bags to my porch and took out my house key, and unlocked the door.

I came into the sound of laughter in the front room. I quietly closed the door behind me and put my keys down on the desk beside the door. I peeked into the living room to My mom and dad, talking to Logan. My brother Logan, had brown hair and hazel eyes. He is the typical protective brother. He left a year ago to go to college. To say I missed him would be understatement. I cleared my throat,

"NIKKI!" my mom yelled running to me. She through her arms around me, I stumbled back a little bit in surprise. I started laughing

"Hey mom," I looked up and say Logan and my dad talking in hushed tones. Finally they both looked at me with happiness in there eyes, as if the conversation they had never happened. I pulled away from mom, and my dad pulled me close, "We need to talk later," my dad whispered in my ear. I pulled away and nodded my head.

I turned to Logan and smiled widely at him

"And who is this tall, gold, goddess?" He said winking at me. I laughed and ran and wrapped my arms around him, "LOGAN!" He laughed and picked me up off the ground and spun me around. I missed Logan so much, I remember when he was a senior and he was the most popular person in the school. So when I needed a date to the dance or whatever, he and his friends would go with me. No dates, just us going as a group.

The funny thing about it was Logan made each of his friends dance with me, which was so awkward because they would be so nervous because Logan would be making sure they kept there hands to themselves and at the end of the night Logan would dance with me. I love Logan.

He has always been my biggest supporter in anything, & everything I do. I pulled away and looked at him. He got taller and had cut his hair, "I should probably take my bags upstairs," I said moving towards my heavy luggage. Before I could pick one up Logan stepped in front of me and picked them up with ease

"I got it," he said walking up the stairs. Once we reached my room I ran and did a back flip onto my bed. I looked back to see Logan smiling, "You think that's impressive?" He teased, "Watch this!" I quickly moved off the bed and watched as Logan jumped and face planted on my bed.

I howled in laughter. Literally doubling over,

"That...was...majestic!" I said in between laughs. Logan sat up and sent me a glare

"Oh shut up," he said laying down on my bed. I sat next to him

"I missed you Logan," I said in a low whisper, "I don't want to lose you again," He sat up and scooted closer, hugging me

"I know, I missed you too Nik," he said stroking my back, "and you're never going to lose me ever again. Are you okay?" He asked in a concerned voice. Logan always knew when something was bugging me.

"I'm fine Logan," I said not in a not very convincing tone. Logan pulled away from me, looking deep into my eyes, Trying to see signs of hurt or confusion in them. I put on a fake smile and stood up

"Are you sure you're okay?" Logan said. I nodded my head at him, "okay good. Because if a guy hurt you, I will find him and smash his balls into oblivion!"

"It's okay Logan," I laughed at him, "Do you want to help me unpack, or not?"

"Um...," Logan put his hand to his chin pretending to think about it, with a small smirk on his face, "I would love to help you. As long as you promise to smile,"
