Chapter 1 Nikki Ever

Meet Nikki Ever, she is a total good girl. Good grades, honor roll, and class president 3 years in a row. But Nikki is a total loser at Northridge High School. Summer is coming and she wants to change the good girl rap for her senior year.

Now meet Ash Black, a total bad boy. Ash and Nikki hate each other it maybe because of him being absolutely popular or because they have been neighbours ever since kindergarten. But Nikki needs his help to changed her over the summer.

Will Ash but aside their differences, or will their hatred be too much for him?

"Nikki wake up, it's the first day of summer let's start it out right," my mom yelled from downstairs. I opened my eyes, the sun was shining through my Windows. I sat up in my bed and stretched. I hopped into the shower and pulled on a cute summer dress. It was white with pink flowers, pulled some saddles on. Looked into the mirror at myself.

I had short red hair, with green eyes. I had curled my hair, and it made it look like my hair was falling down in waves off my head. I gave myself a small smile and walked downstairs to my mom in the kitchen

"There you are Nikki I was beginning to think you were in a coma," my Mom turned around to look at me, "oh, Nikki you look beautiful!"

"Thanks mom," I walked over to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek, "it doesn't look trashy, does it?"

"No Nikki! You look breathtaking! Any guy would be lucky to be in your presence,"

"Aww, Thanks mom, well I'm going to go hang with the girls so I will talk to you later,"

"Oh, Nikki could you get the mail, the seem to be dropping it off earlier than usual,"

"Yeah," I ran out of the kitchen, then out the door. I live in California, so it's hot 24/7. Even though it is 9:00 in the morning I can feel myself getting sunburned. I walked down my drive way to the mailbox. I opened it up and grabbed the mail and looked through it. I saw one with my name it said,

"Happy Birthday Nik!" I rolled my eyes. There was only one person in this world who called me Nik. Felix O'Hare, one of my closest friends. I closed the mailbox and I heard a door open I looked up and saw a tall brunette walk out of Ash Blacks house.

'Must be he's flavor of the month,' I thought to myself. That's what Ash does he plays with girls emotions and he gets them to fall in love with him. Then he gets them in bed. He has done it to every girl at Northridge High. Every girl besides me of course. Thank heavens for that!

Soon enough Ash walks out of his house with no shirt, showing off his perfect torso. He also had a pair of sweats on. He walks the brunette to her car and opens her door. 'Wow, what a gentleman! Yuck!' Before the girl hopped into the car she grabbed Ash and kissed him. He pulled her away and she hopped into her car. Ash turned away from the car and looked up at where I was standing.

We stood there for a second wondering which one will break the silence first. Of course Ash beats me to it

"Enjoy the show, nip?"He asked in his annoying, sarcastic voice

I rolled my eyes, "how many times have I told you to stop calling my nip?!"

"Um," he put his hand to his chin to signify that he is thinking, "to many to count," he flashed my he's gorgeous smile

I walked up to my door but felt a strong hand go on my shoulder, "Come on nip, I'm just messing around,"

I smirked and turned to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck. He was surprised at first, but then wrapped his arms around my waist, "I want to show you something,"

He smiles, "okay," I grab his shoulder and I kicked him where the sun don't shine. He stumbles backwards, "what the heck was that for nip?!"

"I want a different nickname,"

"Fine," he said standing up, "I will call you... Nik," almost immediately I said, "No," only Felix can call me that

"Okay, how about... K," he asked, "nope you don't get a choice on this one I'm going to call you K," I rolled my eyes and walked away from him

"K," he yelled to me I turned around, "what?" I asked

"You look cute, today at least," he winked at me. I huffed in frustration and walked to my door and pulled it open, but before I could close it he yelled, "I love you K," I turned around and smiled at him. I flipped him off and slammed the door shut. I heard him laughing. I gave my mom the mail

"What took you so long Nikki?" She asked eyeing me

"Ash happened,"

"What happened this time?" She asked coming over to me

"Nothing really, but I made him change my nickname!"

"Oh, good for you Nikki!"

"Thanks mom,"

"Oh, Nikki look at this," she pulled a letter out of the pile and gave it to me. It was Felix's letter. I smiled to myself, "it's your cute friend, Felix,"

"Yeah, I can see that mom," I said putting the letter in my bag, "well I will talk to you later mom. Just call me if you need anything,"

"Love you sweetie, be safe,"

"I always am," I grabbed my bag and walked out the door and saw my two closest friends waiting for me in the driveway.

"Hey girl, get in," Sam said. Sam is my personal favorite she is always there when I need her the most. She had black hair with blue eyes

"Yeah come on, we are girls on a mission to find the best shoes of the season!" Charlie yelled from the passenger side of the car. Charlie had blue hair with green eyes. Yeah, crazy right? But she is my friend and is crazy! She used to have red hair like me but she didn't like it so she changed, drastically.

I hopped into the back seat of the car, "thanks you guys for coming to get me,"

"Sure, what are friends for?" Sam said pulling out of my drive way. I looked behind me to see Ash walk out of his house with a blue t-shirt on and some ripped up jeans. He hopped into his sweet mustang and started following us. I looked at his car in confusion, "why is Ash Black following us?"

Charlie looked behind me to see Ashes car, "well that's freaky," she looked over at Sam, "did you do something, Sam?"

"I invited him and his friends to come with us," she said. Charlie and I looked at each other then back at Sam

"What?!"

"I'm sorry I thought it would be fun,"

"How would this be fun, Sam?" I asked her

"I don't know, come on we don't have to wait for them. We will leave them in a Sports Authority, or something. Come on!"

"Fine," Charlie and I said at the same time. I sunk into my seat. I looked at Ash again, but he was looking at me with a small smirk. Suddenly I saw him out one finger in the air. He flipped me off! He started laughing.

I turned to face forward, I thought to day was going to be fun! Ash Black makes my blood boil!
