Chapter 16 Let's Play A Game

Ash's POV

I through a lamp at the wall and watched it shatter. Why would she do this to me?! I left her alone for about two minutes! She just leaves me a pity letter!

Dear Ash,
I love you! That all I want you to know. I love the way you protect me and the way you try to act cool when you are just a huge nerd. I'll miss you the most, please don't hate me Ash. I already hate myself for doing this to you. But it has to be done. Until we meet again,

What's with that? I fell to the ground, my body shaking with rage

"Ash?" Gwen said. I turned to look at everyone in the room. Felix, Charlie, Gwen, My mom, Nikki's parents, and Logan. Nikki's parents were holding on to each other, sobbing lightly. Logan was pacing around the room, biting his fingers. Felix was sitting on the bed with his head in his hands. Gwen and Charlie were holding on to each other as if there life's depended on it.

And me. I was freaking out, throwing anything that was closest to me at the wall. I breathed deeply and stood up from the ground, "We need to find her," I said as calmly as I could

"I agree," Logan said stopped walking and looking at me. I saw the look in his eyes, there was sadness, concern and mostly anger.

"How?!" Felix said standing up looking furious, "We don't know where they could have taken her?! This is your fault!" he yelled pointing at me, "You got her into this mess!"

I clenched my jaw and stared at Felix. I ran over to him and tackled him to the ground. Punching his face with all the anger that I kept bottled inside sense she left!

I felt somebody grabbing my shoulder. They pulled me off Felix who had a black eye and bloody nose. Logan came I front of me

"Calm down," he said. He's right I shouldn't waste my time and that piece of scum! I nodded my head at him. Logan finally let go of me and walked to where he was before.

"What's the plan boss?" Logan asked.

"I'm going to do anything to find her," I said pulling out a price of paper and explaining the plan to them.

Nikki's POV

I woke up with a pounding head ache. I opened my eyes to a bright light shining above me and I was tied to a metal chair. My hands are tied behind my back to the chair. Suddenly a door swung open.

"Oh, good you're awake," said Nick walking in, "do you remember where you are?" He asked

I nodded my head at him, "good. Then I don't have to tell you again because I hate doing that!"

Max and Sam walked through the door, "Aw my beautiful Nikki is finally awake!" Sam said gesturing for Nick r ring a chair over for him. Nick did and Sam sat down across from me.

"So how about we play a little game?" Sam said. He pulled out a switch blade and brought it to u legs. I realized I was still in my dress from the party, "bring me her phone," Sam instructed. Max brought him my phone.

Sam pressed some buttons and stared to call somebody. He placed them on speaker phone and I saw the name Ash.

"No stop please don't call him!" I yelled. I screamed, then Nick came up behind me and placed his hand over my mouth. Ash picked up on the second ring.

'Oh no'

Ash's POV
*Again*

I was finally down explaining the plan when my phone went off. I pulled it out and blinked twice looking at the name that had popped up. Nikki. Everybody in the room had gone silent.

I picked it up in the second ring.

"Nikki?!" I yelled into the phone. Nobody replied, "Nikki!" I yelled again.

"Not Nikki," the voice on the phone said. I froze.

"Sam..." I said in a low voice.

"Ding-ding give the boy a prize," Sam said sarcastically.

"Where is she?!" I yelled into the phone, "I swear if you laid one finger on her, I'll find you and-,"

"And what? Kill me?!" Sam laughed into the phone, "You are so pathetic. Just like your father,"

My jaw clenched, I clenched my fists. I screamed and picked up a vase that was next to me and through it at the wall. Logan touched my shoulder

'What's wrong,' he mouthed

I pushed off his hand and left the house.

"You have such a temper," Sam laughed

"What do you want?" I asked. I was breathing deeply trying to calm myself down.

"You know what I want," Sam said in a serious tone, "And if you don't bring it to me, well you'll be responsible for this,"

At first it was silent. Then there was a blood curdling scream

"NIKKI! JUST STOP IT!" I yelled. I ran back to the house to see Felix and Logan talking in hushed tones. I walked over to them and put the phone on speaker.

Nikki's screams echoed through the large house. Nikki's parents looked at me with tears in their eye. Logan eyes were shut but I knew he was crying.

The screaming ended then we heard her voice, "Ash," She whispered in a harsh, low tone, "Don't d-do anything," Then I heard a slap on the other line.

"No leave her alone Sam!" Ash yelled into the phone.

"Bring me what I want and I may not kill her," Sam growled onto the phone, "I would hurry up Ash, I wouldn't think your little K is going to last very long. You have 3 days to get me what I want!" He yelled then hung up.

"Wait! Nikki?!" I looked at my phone, "Dang!" I said through my phone across the room.

"What do you have that's belongs to Sam, Ash?" Felix asked I turned and faced everyone. They were all looking at me.

"Let's just say that I stole a precious jewel," I said walking out the room.

There is only one problem, I gave it to my dad.

Yep I'm screwed
