The two of them spent the rest of the day together, curled up in bed, cuddling and discussing their futures.

The hours ticked by, one by one, and they remained awake.

It was only when the morning rays began to stream in through the window that Evangeline realized they'd been up all night.

She quickly sat up in bed, whimpering softly at the sudden pain caused by the swift movement.

"We've been up all night," she gasped, recovering quickly.

"I know," he shrugged "I realized how late we were up hours ago. Didn't want to tell you though."

"Why not?" She asked.

He shot her a sleazy grin, leaning forward.

"You couldn't expect me to ruin the moment, yeah?"

"It was a bit longer than a moment," she rebutted. "Or I wouldn't be so exhausted."

"Aww, are you mad at me for keeping you up so late?" He crooned teasingly.

She threw a pillow at him.

"Shut up," the blonde muttered to herself as she painfully hoisted herself out of the bed, standing up.

"Feeling a little grumpy, are we? That's no way to speak to your fiancé."

"I'll shove this thing down your throat next time," she retorted, pointing to the discarded pillow.

"Not sure it would fit," he mused "But I appreciate the enthusiasm."

She didn't respond for a moment, stretching a bit.

"Do I need to tell you to shut up again?" she finally asked.

"Maybe I should," he responded "Perhaps with some peace and quiet you might be able to take a nap- regain that sleep you lost."

"A nap, this early in the morning?" she asked "It's barely five."

"Ev', you haven't slept all night. I think under these circumstances, a 5 am nap might be a bit understandable."

"Fine," she sighed, feeling her cheeks redden at the nickname "But only if you leave the room! I won't be able to sleep if you're here. You're too distracting."

"I hope you mean that in a good way," he chuckled before stepping out from under the covers and off of her bed.

"Not telling," she teased, sticking a tongue out at him. "Now get out."

"Your wish is my command," he chuckled, taking a couple of slow steps backwards until he had finally slunk out of the room.

Evangeline sighed to herself, getting back into bed and curling up into a ball, her cheeks still flaming red as she felt herself drift off.
