"I'm always right," she proclaimed proudly, a light edge to her voice, indicating that she was only joking.
"And what of I, all knowing one?"
"I do not think you would appreciate my consensus of you," she smiled.
"Then perhaps I should revoke my question... for the sake of my own self esteem."
"A miracle you have any left considering that you've spent more than two minutes in my presence."
"A worthy sacrifice," he smirked "One I would make a thousand times over."
Before she could respond, the lights suddenly dimmed around them.
Evangeline lurched forward, one of her arms reaching out to grab at Vlads bicep in anticipation.
"Here we go..." she heard him mumble softly to himself as the silhouette of an actor suddenly appeared on stage.

The play took several hours to finish, though neither of them expected any less. Romeo and Juliet was, after all, quite the long script.
However, once it was over, the two of them found themselves in near darkness. The lights had dimmed for a final time.
"I couldn't even see my own hand if it were right in front of me," she mumbled.
He stood up, taking her by the arm and helping her stand.
"Here, allow me to assist you. I'd like to think I can see exceptionally well in the dark."
"Bloodsucker," she grumbled.
"Somebodies jealous."
