She woke up several hours later, yawning as she sat up in bed, her thoughts feeling muddy as she pieced it all together.

She was in Vlads castle, sleeping in bed, as his fiancé-

Gosh, it still felt like a fever dream.

Her eyes sparkled at the thought as she stood up, getting out of bed and deciding to go out searching for her husband-to-be.

She found him a few minutes later, sitting at a desk in the corner of his study.

He perked up at the sound of the door opening, looking to the entrance of the room, where he found Evangeline approaching him.

She lazily slumped down into the chair in front of his desk, smiling up at him.

"Miss me?"

"Oh I've been hysterical," he chuckled "Absolutely heartbroken. How dare you take that nap, leaving me all alone all day?"

She rolled her eyes.

"If only I had another pillow on hand to throw at you."

"I believe you threatened to shove it down my throat the next time I acted out," he mused "Change of plans?"

"Maybe you should have read in between the lines to see that I was referencing the next instance I'd have a pillow on me while you were in the vicinity," she shrugged.

"I suppose that shall be very soon," he responded, flipping over one of the pages on his desk.

"Considering that you shall be moving into my room tonight."

"What about the room you prepared for me?" she asked.

"That was before you became my fiancé, no?" he asked "Is it not natural for me to want my future wife to sleep with me?"

"That poor room shall go to waste," she smiled.

"Perhaps it won't," he responded "If we ever have daughters, it could pass on to one of them."

"Perhaps," she mused, leaning back in the chair before her eyes flickered down to the paperwork on Vlads desk.

"What's that?"

"Why, our wedding plans of course," he stated simply.

Her eyes widened.

"Let me see!"

He chuckled, turning the paper over so that it was now facing her. He'd written down in bullet points all of the many ideas they'd come up with the night prior.

"I'll be looking into each idea soon," he stated "This is just a sort of.. brainstorming sheet. I've added a couple of other ideas as well, but have been waiting for you to wake up so that I might get your approval on them."

"Can I see them?" she asked, cocking her head slightly in curiosity.

"Be my guest," he chuckled, pulling out another piece of paper and handing it over, this one consisting only of his ideas.

She glanced over them before a smile appeared on her face.

"You could be a wedding planner, you know?" she laughed "These ideas are all amazing!"

"I do think I'd rather be King of Vampires," he chuckled "Living in a castle is nice, after all."

"And soon, I'll be the Queen."

"My queen.".
