Primary Habitat: Girdle Forest
Diet: Herbivorous
Behavior: Curious, Gluttonous
Background: The first stage of the papillon life cycle, Caterpillars will spend most of their time eating various plants and fungi. They store any and all toxins in their bodies and spray them from their antenna to defend themselves from predators. When a caterpillar reaches adulthood, their diet changes drastically to eating massive amounts of fruit. When they find a human man that suits their fancy,it will cling to him affectionately and try her best to seduce him. While having sex,the caterpillar will begin metamorphosis, encasing her and her husband into a chrysalis where they will copulate endlessly for 3 months. During this, the caterpillar will feed her husband a paste made from digested fruit via kissing, which keeps him sustained throughout the metamorphosis, along with reinforcing affection. The caterpillar's body will dissolve and reshape,as it develops, essentially making her body a soft mass for her husband to make love to. This process aids in shaping the new body, making her the ideal mate for her husband. After the 3 long, pleasure filled months, the chrysalis will break open, releasing the fully mature form, and her husband in her arms. Note that it's very much a 50/50 chance for the final form to either emerge as a papillon or a moth girl.
Papillon
Primary Habitat: Heartland
Diet: Liquids (nectar,blood,semen)
Behavior: Loving, affectionate
Background: One of the fully mature forms of the caterpillar, Papillons are one of the most joyous species,as they have nothing on their minds aside from living and loving with their husbands and getting pregnant. The papillon will try to get her husband to have sex with her,but she will respect his wishes if he refuses. Because of the conditions of the metamorphosis, the appearance of a papillon varies, but is usually the ideal body shape for her husband. After getting pregnant, the papillon will typically lay 2 eggs after letting them develop in her womb, and after 2 weeks of incubation, the eggs will hatch into caterpillars, who will stay with their mother for the next several years. Papillon's feed on fluids, typically plant nectar, but will happily drink fruit juice,or blood. In fact, many butchers will employ Papillons to aid in draining blood from meat. However, papillons love to drink their husband's semen, and will typically perform an act while giving fellatio, where the Papillon will thrust her drinking tube from her mouth, down her husband's urethra and drink his fluids straight from the semen duct.
Moth girl
Primary Habitat: Girdle Forest
Diet: Herbivorous
Behavior: Loving
Background: One of the fully mature forms of the caterpillar, Moth girls are very similar to papillons, with the exception of preferring to eat solid plant matter, and lacking a drinking tube. Moth girls possess a series of narcotic scales that when released and breathed in will cause her husband to become extremely sexually aroused, and will have sex with the moth girl, even if she released them by accident (not that she'd object) moth girls are also known to be very caring and affectionate towards their husbands, and if their husband is younger than them, they will take on a maternal persona, often calling themselves "Moth Mommy"
Culture: Caterpillars, papillons, and moth girls don't exactly possess a culture of their own, and are instead focussed on food and reproduction, though they will integrate the culture of their husbands to their lifestyles.
