Primary Habitat: Rich Desert

Diet: None

Behavior: Reserved

Background: The remains of nobles or royalty from the Rich Desert animated via a form of necromancy ritual, they do not need to eat, sleep or drink, due to their organs all being removed during embalment. The mana that's fused to their bodies keep them alive and keeps their skin, hair, and other body parts from decaying. Their eyes are replaced with precious stones, which gives them an uncanny, yet alluring appearance. Their approach to the living depends on how recently they've reanimated. If the corpse was fresh, the mummy will remember everything they remembered when they were alive, with the exception being the events leading to their deaths. If the corpse is old, they won't remember their lives, aside from their name and general knowledge. Mummies are one of the few monsters that don't initially desire sex,but because of their high status, they'll declare the first few people they meet after reanimating as their servant, and will ask them for various tasks, including sex for pleasure.

Culture: Mummies retain their knowledge of when they were alive, and thus share the same culture as their living counterparts. While they don't require food or drinks to survive, they will eat for pleasure, and the material they eat will dissipate, being converted into mana to help sustain them. They will also bathe in milk (be it cow, centaur, holstaur, human,or Pan.) as it is both part of a tradition, and for the mana supplied.
