Behavior: Relaxed, affectionate
Background: A combination of cat and human,they were a failed attempt at making a feline predator for humans by Echidna. They're docile and friendly towards humans, typically acting like a domesticated cat, albeit with human intelligence and ability to use tools. When a nekomata finds a human that strikes her fancy,she will be more affectionate than usual towards him, and will often keep her tail raised,showing that she's in heat and looking to mate. When having sex,the nekomata will scream in pleasure,and depending on the position,will dig her claws and teeth into her husband out of passion. To prevent this,most men will pinch the nekomata on the back of her neck,which will cause her to go into a near catatonic state, allowing the husband to have sex at his leisure. Sex during this state is actually more pleasurable for the nekomata,as her body is more sensitive.
Culture: Nekomatas typically live solitary lifestyles,but will commune and eat in large groups in secluded areas. When a nekomata finds herself living with a man,she will often refer to him as "Master" and will shower him with affection. Nekomatas also have a habit of saying "Nya" in their sentences,but it's not clear as to whether or not this is a custom.
