Background: A reptilian race gifted with fire elemental abilities. Salamanders make their homes in trees during their adolescence, and gain their fire powers upon waking up when the tree they reside in gets struck by lightning. This event causes the salamander to become a fully fledged adult, and as she emerges from her burning tree,she searches for a husband. Salamanders are very picky about the males they choose for their husbands, and if a cocky human or monster tries to force himself upon a salamander, she'll raise her body temperature to its maximum,severely burning them. When the salamander finds a man that suits her fancy,she'll first trace her finger against his skin, leaving a burn scar on his body,which the salamanders perceive as a symbol of marriage. Sex with a salamander is a gruelling task,as the man must avoid getting burnt by her extreme body temperature. Fortunately,there are several methods, including a spell that shields the man's body, and the salamander herself giving him a tongue bath,as her saliva contains heat resistant properties, and can prove to be excellent lubricant for sex. Upon laying an egg,the Salamander will happily incubate it with her embrace and when the egg hatched,she'll bury her newborn into a tree,where the newborn will sleep,eat, and grow.
