Background: Guardian beings of the Heartland, Jackelopes embody the rural culture and prosperity of the Heartland. They love alcohol, and will often disguise themselves to go into human settlements to purchase liquor. The reason why is because they are very sought after,due to their ability to grant good luck,in the form of either making charms from their antlers or fur. Female Jackelopes are always in heat, and thus desire sex at any opportunity.The usual way for a human to find a jackelope is to stumble upon one that passed out from heavy drinking. Jackelopes have minor psychic abilities, and mixed with "liquor goggles" will typically send a telepathic message to the human,inviting them to have sex with their unconscious body. Sex while drunk is very joyous to Jackelopes, and if it was good enough, they'll consider the human their spouse after waking up. Jackelopes are unable to experience a hangover,due to their bodies containing a chemical that enables them to recover quickly from it. Jackelope breast milk is known for having incredible medicinal properties,adding more to their pursuit from people.
Culture: Jackelopes live in isolated, tribal societies, preferring to keep to themselves, and only interacting with other races in certain circumstances( helping somebody in need,such as a person trapped in a flowing river) they're led by a democratically elected chief that manages the priorities of the tribe.
