The term "Chupacabra" is a broad term for creatures that drink blood and eat the Internal organs of domesticated animals. The species of chupacabra listed here are one of the most dangerous. They possess an exoskeleton consisting of osteoderms (scales infused with bone) which protects them from most weapons,with the exception being a soft spot behind their heads,which if shot with an arrow, musket ball,or penetrated by a sword will damage the spinal cord, leaving the chupacabra paralyzed from the neck down. They use their large ears to detect prey, and will then rush swiftly towards them,using the large canines on their lower jaw to gash their prey open, and then begin to feed; using their tongue to lap up blood from the wound, and gnawing on the flesh to encourage more blood flow.
