This is a general description of the cultures in the various regions of the continent:
The inhabitants of the Barren lands are mostly pariah monsters, such as vampires and ghouls, with the exception being the Lamia canyon which is home to Lamias and Harpies. Because of the Barren desert landscape, they usually raid local villages on the borders and coastlines for both resources and potential mates. The Lamia canyon, however is an oasis with clear pools of water and an abundance of edible plants, which the Lamias and Harpies typically use to barter for preferred food.
The Girdle Forest, being stocked with an abundance of game is the exact opposite. The inhabitants usually take up jobs as hunters, alchemists, and lumber workers. The elves rule the forest alongside the Mantis insectoids and usually deal with the people of the Heartland in trading food and lumber. Their main form of currency is with a series of wooden coins and bricks that are made from a golden oak tree. Golden oak trees are both extremely rare and impossible to cut, with the exception of a technique that the royal woodworkers know of and Keep as a tightly guarded secret to prevent counterfeiting.
The Heartland is prime real estate for farmers and miners, with the dwarves holding the monopoly on the ladder. Because of all the trading that goes through, the humans there are very well educated and cultured, along with having architecture that rivals the Eygis kingdom. Their currency consists of copper coins and rings that the dwarves have personally manufactured.
The primordial Marshland is a playground for scientists, pet and exotic animal merchants, treasure hunters, and fisherman. The control of the region is currently fought over by warring tribes, and due to the amount of dangerous creatures and poisonous plants, the control of the region is pretty short lived. The currency is complicated, due to the various tribes having different currencies. Some tribe use fashioned shells, some use rare animal parts, others use sex slaves, and others barter with salvage.
The Rich Desert is ruled by an Egyptian/middle eastern-like culture, with the ruler being a pharaoh, whom is usually accompanied by an Anubis as his/her assistant. Their currency consists of gold coins, bars, and small glass spheres. They trade with all other regions, using the Anix river, along with trade caravans that travel on foot. There's a yearly ritual that the pharaoh hosts; every year, they give energy to the six kings and their queens by having a chosen succubus stand on a pillar above a fire that consists of burning flowers, then the pharaoh and the citizens attending extinguish the flames,by ejaculating on it,then they all engage in an orgy in front of the succubus.
The Mez isles has a sea fairing tribal culture that is a mix of Polynesian and meso American cultures.
The serene islands are a combination of various Asian cultures, primarily Japan. They're the most advanced culture out of them all and happily coexist with the monsters with little issue.
Well, guys, that it for now. Sorry,I didn't elaborate more on the last 2.
