A species of predatory manta ray that glide along the surface of the ocean on moonless nights. They cling to whatever prey they catch and sink their jaws into the closest artery, drinking their blood. Thankfully, exposure to bright lights will induce seizures in them. Because of this,most sailors will keep whatever sources of lights they have on during the night.
