Valve doing something about the bots in TF2 was expected with the popularity of #FixTF2. What I was not expecting was the comic issue #7 to actually be worked on somewhere in there though I would not be surprised if they only leaked it to satiate fans as they proceed to not do anymore maintain again.
I'm more surprised they've actually kept their promise outside the summer update though. I've been seeing more cheaters than bots nowadays, and any reports I've filed have actually come through. I think right now's a good time to get Tanjiro and Trinity into TF2. Jabjong doesn't seem to be as interested, unfortunately, but to be fair, they are pretty squeamish about blood and violence (as they should).
I still remember over a year ago when Emesis Blue released, Jabjong tried watching through the whole movie with Whitney & Keira but ended up leaving a third of the way through. On top of finding it a bit hard to follow, the sound design freaked made their truth seeking go haywire. I would say, this is not a movie you can watch in one go unless you want to stay confused, and you'll only appreciate the little details if you've played on Teufort or dissect the movie scene by scene.
Now that I've thought about, it's been a while since I've updated our statuses for you guys. Here's a quick rundown on what happened:
-Mine and Hayan's bodies have gotten better at handling their anxiety disorder. It's nice to know we don't have to intervene as often in the past. Hayan is less grumpier too though the state of politics of our next door neighbours (mainly North America) and the ones of the other side of the globe worries them. If things go as bad as one of our predictions say, our country will be overloaded with refugees. It's not the worse thing to happen to Kodoka, but it'll also mean more taxes or higher train tickets for us to pay to service the larger population. (Not that we find it bad; it's the price we pay for stuff we use everyday. We know maintenance is just as important as innovation.)
-Whitney's body still needs to iron out some kinks before Whitney wants to leave her on her own. Considering how big of a difference their personalities are, I would assume this will take a while. I like to refer to this part of Whitney as "Wendy" to make it less confusing for ourselves; Whitney is usually is charge of the body which meant we didn't have much of a need to distinguish between her forms. I find it quite cute for Whitney's chat to hype Wendy up whenever she's the one in charge. They may be ravenous simps for a maniacal woman, but they certainly know how to welcome a shy lady.
-We finally got Reshiram and Zekrom into therapy. I felt bad for Kuromi & Kuro's body because of how crass the souls inhabiting them are. We've only noticed they are different entities during Kodokium replenishment days and are very apologetic for their souls' "quirkiness" (at least when the body is in charge). Those were also the times we've figured out Shiromi & Shiroshi's bodies are essentially the same as their souls though they are a bit nicer than their souls. I'm just happy to see Shiro's body no longer freeze up when ordering food; Shiro's a lot less stress out too.
-Speaking of those guys, we've started using their government names to refer to them on stream now. Do not freak out when we start calling Shiro "Veritas" or "Vera", Shiromi "Edelweiss", Shiroshi "Alban", etc. And yes, Shiroshi's actual name being "Alban" is the real why we call him "Alvin". Kuro's "Idea" (pronounced "ee-day-ah), Kuromi's "Renfri", and Kuroko's "Douglas". Kyūrei and Gurē's actual roepnamen are "Griselda" and "Isbert" respectively, but it's still not their legal names. Those names (and by extension, my own and siblings') are still confidential for legal reasons.
-We met the TF2 voice actors at Seattle recently! Keira and I got Gary Schwartz to sign our posters as an Engineer and Demo main respectively :). Whitney also got her bone saw signed by Robin Atkin Downes while Griselda & Isbert got autographs from Dennis Bateman. Shame Blake & Geom-eun can't get autographs from the VAs of their mains (scout and engineer), but they did manage to get some voice impressions from Ellen McLain. Very fun day.
That's all from me, folks. See you guys in a year. *For my Muricans guys, see you later this month! We will be attending TwitchCon in San Diego this year with Shiroshi & Kuroko. Hoopa & Zacian (with Gloria's permission and Rosa's supervision) will be coming along too.
[*The author of this novel is not actually going to TwitchCon.]
