Immediately the ambulance arrived, Khalil was rushed to a surgical room and not long after Nabila and her husband arrived and asked that she assist in his operation but the doctors asked her to stay put and trust them, but one thing with Nabila is  she doesn't always trust people especially when it comes to someone's life.

And this someone's like is her little brother.

She tried to argue with them but her husband stopped her. "Arguing is useless, Nabila, let them do their work. Its their hospital after all"

She nodded and let them take him while she cried in her husband's arms. "Oh, who knew Khalil would be in such a state. He isn't someone who drives recklessly.  How did it happen?" She cried, while her husband consoled her. Just then, Khadija and husband arrived with their mother, Father and Amal. They were all looking lost as they rushed to Nabila who ran to her mothers arm. "Oh Mama, Khalil ya yi accident. He looks completely damaged. '' She cried as Khadija got a place to sit down silently while her husband placed his hand on her shoulder, reassuring her that everything will be okay.

Amal on the other side was also crying nonstop, the whole family were in turmoil,  cries coming from every end and corner when Ibrahim and Faisal rushed in. They met at the entrance and made it together. The moment Khalil's mother sighted them, she rushed to them. "W... how did this happen?" She asked and both men were silent. "Talk to me, what happened?" She shouted, shaking Ibrahim.

"We... we have no idea mama!" Faisal answered, lowering his head as Mr Omar walked to her. "Stop yelling at them hajiya, they won't know since they were no with him at the moment" he said and Hajiya broke in tears. Amal moved closer and pulled her to sit beside her on the chair, it was then it occured to Amal that Aisha wasn't around. "Where is Aisha?" She asked, looking around and that was when everyone noticed her absence. Khadija suggested calling her and just when she was about to dial her number, Aisha came running in the hallway, in tears as she fell to Hajiya's feet crying.

"Mama, please tell me Khalil is alright" she cried. Hajiya felt sorry for her as she asked her to get up and hugged her. "He would be fine, in sha Allah, my daughter. " she reassured her, hugging her tightly.  Nabila and Khadija didn't like the way their mother turned against Sumayyah and thinks Aisha is any better, but now is not the right time to think who is better, besides Sumayyah isn't even here.

"Please everyone, stop crying. I know Allah is there for us and Khalil will be alright!" Khadija's husband Sadiq said. They nodded and stopped crying, except for Hajiya who was still silently shading tears hoping that her son would come back to her in good health while they all sat there gloomy.

Just then, one of the men who had rescued Khalil asked to speak to the four men in private. So they excused themselves and went further away from their family to listen to the man as he started with his name. "My name is Ken, I am one of the rescue team. We got a call from some guy who seemed to know what had happened before the accident. However the second victim is not severely damaged, he just has a bruise on his forehead due to the force of the crash unlike your brother, please explain to them what you saw!" Ken spoke, referring to the young boy who claimed to witness what had happened.

"I am Qasim. I had just left the market and was making my way down the bridge when I noticed his car was losing control. It was as if he was trying to stabilise the car because it seemed as if his brake was loose and he was using a guard rail to slow down but soon enough the truck which had lost control came crashing towards him. I thought he would run out, but it turned out he was stuck and had the car crashing into him." Qasim narrated, leaving the men in shock, wondering how his brake was lost. Ibrahim suddenly turned around to find Aisha looking away, grabbing Hajiya by the arm. She was eavesdropping and Ibrahim knows that. But his concern would be that she must know something about it, because he never trusted her.
