Your body froze. You've never heard a voice in here before. And something about that voice. It's so similar to yours, yet somehow different. You couldn't describe it. It's like an echo.
"Don't you know how to greet a new friend? Turn around." The voice said
Your eyes widened, unsure of what to do. Why were you so afraid? You were among the strongest people in history. Why was this voice scaring you so much?
You took in a deep breath before finally deciding what to do. You turned around, only to be shocked by what you see.
It was you. Or at least someone who looked like you. But the longer you looked at him, the more you noticed the differences. He wore the same clothes as you, green and yellow sweater, brown pants, basic shoes. It was in the face that the differences could be seen. His eyes were a deep red, with his sclera colored black. Your eyes sometimes flashed red when you got angry. Maybe that has something to do with this guy?
"Greetings. I am Chara." He said, his voice sounding even weirder now that you were looking at him. It was... distorted, somehow.
"You must be so confused." Chara said, that disturbing smile never leaving his face. You tried to reply, but your voice died in your throat. What the hell was happening? Why were you so terrified of him?
"I am the one who possessed DETERMINATION before you." Chara said, and your mind wandered to what Gaster told you that there was another who had DETERMINATION in the last 100 years.
"Your DETERMINATION, your Hate. It brought me back. Our SOULS are one in the same, partner." Chara said, leaving you more confused than before he spoke.
"I started going down the same path as you. But I failed. I failed, and I died in the attempt. Permanently. The same day that you were born. Another child with DETERMINATION. It allowed me to stick to you. But it wasn't until you started rapidly gaining EXP that I could awake." Chara said, it explained SOME things at least.
"I will help you continue down this path. Give you advice when you require it. Let me start with something that will help you in the fight against the skeleton. When he uses those blue attacks, don't move. They'll pass straight through you. That's all you need to know about this one. Good luck." Chara said, his smile widening
