In a world of Heroes and Villains, what will happen when someone with power beyond both of them, with less than benevolent goals, appears? What will happen when the Heroes find a threat that none of them can stop? A threat so great, even the most vi...
Flowey stared down Undyne, a thousand spears behind her, all of which glowed with a blue hue. The red heart pulsed and glowed in Flowey's grasp, encouraging him to stay DETERMINED.
Flowey, in an attempt to protect the heart as much as possible, added even more layers of vines around it. Flowey knew that he wouldn't be able to stand still in this fight, but he cannot move the heart, so, he needed to keep it protected while he is still able to move.
More vines burst out of the ground, more pellets materialized out of thin air, all in an attempt to even the playing field with Undyne's seemingly endless spears.
They both sent their attacks forward, spears and pellets launching themselves at their enemies, vines whipping against Undyne's armor. And so far, Undyne was winning. The vine whips seemed to do little to no damage, while the pellets turned to dust upon meeting with the spears. Flowey descended into the ground to dodge the incoming spears, while the vines did as much as possible to keep up the wall that protected the heart.
Flowey then reappeared behind Undyne, a grin on his face. He materialized more pellets behind her, sending them all at her back. And they struck true. All the pellets hit straight through her armor and into her skin. And she didn't even flinch. She turned towards Flowey, lunging towards him, slashing at him with the spear, only for him to descend into the ground every time she attempted to hit him.
She was slowly starting to realize that trying to hit Flowey was futile, he's just going to go underground every time any of her attacks go anywhere close to him. Then, she realized something. Flowey may be able to move, but that heart he's protecting sure can't. Not with so many vines around it. That's their weakspot. Undyne once again started materializing spears, dozens of them all aimed at the heart.
Flowey seemed to realize what she was planning, too. He knew that the vines won't protect the heart against so many spears. At least one of them was bound to pierce the protection. Flowey had to think. And fast. Then, he remembered Y/N's body, still impaled on the spears. Unconscious, but still very much alive. Flowey quickly went to work, making vines emerge from the ground, which pulled your body off of the spears, the wounds which were, up until now, trying to seal themselves in vain, were now finally able to close. Your body was starting to finally heal.
The heart, sensing that its body was now finally free, started struggling against Flowey's vines, attempting to return to its owner.
Undyne also seemed to realize what was going on and quickly sent the spears towards the heart. But Flowey was faster. His vines returned to the ground, freeing the heart from the restraints.
The heart effortlessly dodged and weaved around the countless spears coming its way, going straight towards Y/N.
Upon reaching its destination, the heart slowly went back inside the body.
Undyne froze as Flowey's smug grin could only expand at the situation. Undyne watched as life started returning to you.
Your finger started moving first. Nails digging into the cement. Then, you started standing up. Your face not lifting its gaze from the ground, the shade from your hair covering your eyes. Then, a red knife started to materialize in your hand. It was then that you looked up.
Your eyes were different. While before, you still had some semblance of humanity visible in them, that was no longer the case. Your eyes lacked all forms of empathy and emotion. Glowing an eerie and menacing red. You pointed the knife towards her.
IN YOUR WAY.
You slashed at the air, sending the same red slashes at her that you used against Endeavor. But this time, they were faster.
Undyne's eyes widened, shock visible on her face as she put her spear up in an attempt to block the attack...
But the spear broke in half.
The spear broke in half, and the shockwave from the impact sent her flying into a wall, her back cracking at the impact.
She screamed out in pain, barely managing to stand back up.
But you didn't relent. You launched yourself at her, slashing at her like a madman, your knife cutting through the metal of her armor like melted butter.
But she was far from done, too. She felt her own DETERMINATION flow through her. She felt the hopes and dreams of the whole world, cheering her on. Praying and begging for her to win. To stand back up and fight for those you had killed. To fight for those you may yet kill. She couldn't give up. She WOULDN'T give up.
"NGAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" With a roar, she pushed you away from her, sending you flying back while she summoned more spears, launching all of them at once towards you, blue and golden spears flying towards you at insane speeds.
You remained stoic, face unchanging as you dodged and weaved around the spears, those you couldn't dodge, you blocked with your knife. Then, the final spear, going straight for your face, you grabbed mid-air, inches away from reaching its target. You tossed the spear away like trash before launching yourself towards her once more. But she didn't relent, not a second has passed and she already sent another wave of spears at you.
You continued to dodge and block each and every one of them. They were all in your way.
Meanwhile, Flowey, who watched from the sidelines now, was both astonished and terrified by what he was seeing. This was by far the strongest and most serious he has ever seen you. Was this the side effect of your DETERMINATION? Of not continuing to feed your LOVE with more and more EXP? Or were you simply THAT focused on the fight that you've closed yourself off to everything else around you?
You continued towards Undyne, undeterred by everything she sent your way. It was starting to be clear that, even with her great power, you couldn't be stopped. Nothing she threw at you even slowed you down. You kept going.
She attempted to throw another wave of spears, when suddenly...
SLASH
A single slash went across her chest. Her eyes widened, blood pouring from her wound as she used her spear to steady herself. "D-damn it..." she started, gripping her wound "So... even with all that power... it wasn't enough?" She asked "Heh... heh heh..." she started laughing. "That's alright. I made plans, just in case I wasn't able to beat you. Cameras have been recording our fight this whole time. Streaming it to the local police station and news network. Now, every hero and civillian alike will know your face. You will never kill anyone ever again. My death doesn't matter. There will always be another to take my place." She said, laughing to herself.
"If I didn't kill you, someone else will. And... everyone's hopes... everyone's dreams... will live on! You may have won this battle. But it cost you the whole war. Goodbye, kid. No one will miss you." Undyne said, before she finally collapsed onto the ground, her spear disintegrating, along with all the others.
