You continued to roam the lab, each step causing an uneasy creak in the floor. You felt as if you weren't alone down here. And you weren't thinking about Alphys.
Eventually, you came across another entry.
"Upon learning of the outcomes of my experiments, my employer had requested that I try another approach. It seems that creatures that had no DETERMINATION naturally couldn't handle having it. That's when I came up with a new idea. What if I injected DETERMINATION into something that wasn't even a creature to begin with?"
You froze when you finished the entry. 'Something that wasn't a creature to begin with'? That sounded an awful lot like someone you know.
Flowey seemed to sense what got you uneasy. He didn't say anything.
You went to the next entry in silence, sweat dripping down your face.
"I've chosen a vessel. I haven't told my employer what it will be just yet. But I do wonder, what happens when something without a SOUL gains the will to live?"
That didn't help your worries whatsoever. Flowey continued to be silent. Were these entries talking about him? Did he know about this?
...was this where he was created?
You walked to the next panel.
"The families of my experiments have begun to ask questions, they expected to have their loved ones' bodies by now. They're sending me letters daily. I can't let them know what truly happened here."
You felt your heart sink at this, something just... felt awful about this. To believe your loved ones are dead when they're just experiments to be toyed with by some sick scientist is terrible.
You decided to swallow up those feelings and keep going. You found the next entry.
"The experiments are a failure. The vessel hasn't changed at all. I'll just keep injecting it to see what will happen."
...maybe it wasn't Flowey.
You walked to the next entry.
"Nothing is happening. I'll just keep injecting everything with DETERMINATION. I need this to work. My life depends on it."
'My life depends on it'? What could that possibly mean? Was whoever wrote this, presumably Alphys, forced into doing this? If the vessel the entries are talking about IS Flowey, then that would mean that the 'Employer' is All for One, you wouldn't put threats beneath him at all.
You approached the next entry.
"Still nothing. I decided to give the flower back to my employer and inform him of my failure. I can only hope he'll still find me useful."
You walked towards the next entry. It was a short one and you felt bile rise up in your throat as you read this three word sentence.
"The flower is gone."
You placed a hand over your mouth to keep yourself from vomiting. This confirms that Alphys made Flowey. She's been involved with you long before you began to kill as often as you did.
