"Endeavor."
I slowly turned around, only to see that characteristic scowl on his face, I felt my anger bubbling up just by seeing it. All those times I tried to gain his approval, only to see that scowl. Flowey quickly descended down into the ground, waiting for the right time to assist me, should the need for his assistance arise.
"You killed him." Endeavor said, crossing his arms as he glared down at me.
"I did." I replied "Why? Don't tell me you care about a cowardly nobody like him." I said in a condescending tone, my eyes narrowing at the #2 hero in front of me, gripping my knife tightly and preparing for a fight.
"Hmph, hardly. But he was still a hero. He worked day and night every day to help people. Automatically, he's worth a hundred of you." Endeavor said, fire engulfing his fists "I'm bringing you in. Make this easier for the both of us and just surrender. We both know you don't stand a chance." Endeavor said simply
I chuckled "Oh? Is that so? I can't say I know anything about that, Endeavor. I'm not losing to you. To the measly number 2." I said, he didn't even recognize me. Flowey was right, after all. I really WAS that unimportant to him that he didn't even recognize me, when I was standing a few mere feet away from him. I felt disgusted. I felt hate. All of them fueling my DETERMINATION.
"So be it. You made your choice, villain." Endeavor said before suddenly launching himself towards me, aiming a punch directly into my gut with his flame-covered fists.
I dodged effortlessly, simply sidestepping to avoid the fist. I tried to counterattack by kicking him in the side, but he stopped it, grabbing my ankle and tossing me into a wall before sending a wave of flame towards me. Flowey intervened, creating a wall of vines in front of me, which absorbed most of the flames.
"Hmph, so you're not acting alone." Endeavor deduced, his eyes scanning around the alleyway, but not finding anyone here. Flowey was still underground. "Where's your friend, villain?" Endeavor demanded, preparing to launch another wave of fire towards me
I chuckled "I'm afraid that you won't live long enough to find out about him, so I won't even bother telling you." I said, dashing towards Endeavor, sending a slash right at his chest, an almost guaranteed hit. But he dodged, grabbing me by the throat and slamming me down into the ground. I let out a grunt of pain as my back hit the pavement, it was then that another vine took hold of Endeavor's arms, pulling him away from me and tossing him aside. However, the restraints didn't last long, as Endeavor quickly engulfed the vines in flame, freeing himself. That's one disadvantage that Flowey has against Endeavor. Plants tend to be flammable.
I growled, standing back up, this is going to be more difficult than I thought. I need to get stronger. If I'm having this much trouble against Endeavor, I needed more LV. 16 isn't going to cut it. I slashed at the air, sending red, slash-like projectiles at Endeavor.
His eyes widened, he clearly wasn't expecting me to be capable of ranged attacks as well. He managed to avoid most of the slashes, but one managed to hit. Right at the stomach. "Hmph, you're stronger than I expected, Villain. But unfortunately, you're still weak." Endeavor said, pointing both his hands towards me "Prominence... BURN!" Endeavor yelled out, a beam of powerful flames suddenly rocketed towards me. I had to dodge. Not even Flowey could defend me against an attack like that.
I felt as if time slowed down, my mind racing as Endeavor's most poweful attack sped towards me. I needed to dodge. To do SOMETHING. But it was so fast, I don't know if I have the time to dodge. I'm not sure if I could tank the hit from an attack like that. I felt adrenaline rushing through my veins, DETERMINATION filling my body. Then...
