Flowey watched the fight, still paralyzed from shock and fear, the only movement he made was the constant shaking that refused to stop.

He's never felt this afraid before. You exuded a murderous presence, a dark aura that felt like it was suffocating him. A presence that caused only one possible reaction out of anyone who felt it. Sheer terror. Pure fear.

He was amazed that All Might could muster up the courage to speak, much less move and continue to fight after feeling something like that. He finally understood why someone like him was Number One. No other hero, even someone as DETERMINED as Undyne, could have kept going after seeing that. After FEELING that.

And yet here was All Might, fighting on, despite the fear. Despite the fact that it looked like he stood no chance. Every attack that All Might threw your way, despite how much damage it did to your body, you shrugged off as if it was nothing.

But the damage you did to him was not so easily ignored. Your stabs were bad enough, but whatever that black stuff each of your attacks left behind, it did more damage. Ravaging the wounds, doing as much harm as your actual attacks did.

It melted away pieces of his costume, burned his skin, destroyed muscle and organ tissue, whenever it got past his skin.

The sight of you was just as terrifying and terrible as the presence that was emanating off of you. Jagged, broken bones sticking out of your skin, black liquid pouring from your veins instead of blood, a crazed smile etched onto your features, as if it was forced on there. Unnaturally wide, causing your lips to crack, the same black liquid leaking out instead of blood, leaking down your face and chin.

To Flowey, it was clear that All Might couldn't win. No matter how hard he FIGHTS. There had to be an alternative.

In this state, not even Flowey, your one and only best friend, wanted you to win. Because it was clear that this wasn't you. Whatever it was that was controlling you, was giving you this power, it was more evil than you yourself could ever be.

But what could he do? If FIGHTING doesn't work, what will? What was the alternative? What was that ONE way that this fight could end without you dying? There had to be something. ANYTHING.

Flowey felt something. Something within your SOUL, calling out to him. Flowey was made from your DETERMINATION, after all. He was connected to you. But this was weird. As if your SOUL was independently acting from the rest of your body.

Your very SOUL was calling out to Flowey. Something was trying to reach him. The last part of your DETERMINATION that remained pure urged Flowey for help.

But what could he do? He can't fight you. And talking to you won't do him any good. There has to be another solution.

Suddenly, Flowey's own DETERMINATION flared up, Flowey called out!

"Y/N!!!"

Flowey yelled out, calling your name which caused both you and All Might to put your combat to a halt.

He had finally realized. If he can't FIGHT or ACT, there was only one more option left to him.

Your DETERMINATION alongside Flowey's flared up, a warm, red light enveloping the alley.

A voice not your own emerged from your mouth. "What are you doing?!" It asked, sounding panicked.

"You're not my best friend." Flowey said to the voice, a DETERMINED look on his face.

You reeled over, clutching your head tightly as the voice groaned out in what sounded like agony. Black tendrils burst from your chest and back, squirming in the air.

"Whatever you are, you do not belong in my best friend's SOUL!" Flowey said, descending into the ground and popping out closer to you.

All Might, his eyes wide in shock, took a step back. He wasn't sure what was going on, but every part of him felt like he shouldn't intervene. Like One for All itself was telling him to let this play out.

Black substance started to leak out of your skin, covering your body as the voice continued to screech out. You gripped your head so hard that it looked like you were going to rip your hair out.

"Whatever you are, LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Flowey demanded. And just as the black substance was about to cover your chest, a red heart, a pure, red heart, emerged from your chest, floating over to Flowey and floating above him, glowing warmly. Not a bit of Hate on it. For the first time since you first realized you had your power, your DETERMINATION was pure.

Granted, it seems that the last part of your SOUL that remained pure had split off from the one covered in Hate, but still, it was a sight to behold.

To think that such a small part of your SOUL, held such great power, it was incredible.

"No... no...!" The voice protested, writhing in pain as you fell to your knees. "HE BELONGS TO US! HIS SOUL, HIS DETERMINATION BELONGS TO US!" The voice said, gripping the concrete, causing your nails to crack and break, black liquid pouring out.

By this time, the black substance had fully covered you, from head to toe. The only thing keeping you from looking like a pitch black silhouette was a glowing red smile and glowing red eyes.

"HE IS OURS! HE AGREED! YOU CAN'T PUSH US OUT! YOU'RE WEAK! A MERE PIECE OF HIM!" The voice said, but Flowey's face remained unchanged.

The SOUL floating above him started to grow more intensely.

The voice screamed out in pure agony as the SOUL's light reached your body, the black substance covering you looking like it was evaporating.

Suddenly, your hand was free from the black substance. Your hand, acting independently from the rest of you, which was still covered in darkness, grabbed onto the substance, trying to rip it off of you.

"NO! THIS ISN'T WHERE IT ENDS! HE WILL BE OURS ONCE AND FOR ALL! YOU'RE TOO LATE TO STOP US! NEITHER YOU NOR HIM CAN DO ANYTHING!" The voice screamed before letting out one last inhuman screech as your SOUL's light burned away the rest of the black substance.

You collapsed to the ground. Unconscious.

All Might was stunned. Unsure of what to think about what happened just now.

Your SOUL's light died down, and the last pure part of your DETERMINATION, instead of returning to you, went into Flowey, instead. The small, red heart that floated above Flowey went into him, instead of returning to you.

All Might, took a step forward, attempting to take you, but just as he did, a purple portal appeared beneath you and Flowey. You both fell inside and before All Might could try to follow you, it closed.
