You chose not to linger either, leaving the alleyway and heading back towards Shigaraki's bar, unseen.
You ran. Ran as fast as your legs could carry you while remaining unseen. But soon enough, fatigue started to catch up to you. You snuck to another alleyway, this time, empty. You leaned against the wall, your breathing labored.
"Damn it..." You muttered to yourself. You didn't expect to face anyone who could just tank your attacks like that.
"We need to get to safety. I get that you're tired, but it's hardly the time for resting!" Flowey said. Though, despite his words, it was clear in his tone that he is worried about you.
"We'll get back to the bar. I just... need a few minutes." You said, sliding down onto the pavement, sitting against the wall. "This is getting ridiculous." You said, looking down at your hands. "Ever since I fought Endeavor, everything has gone to hell. First, that ridiculously powerful fish girl, then that disgustingly optimistic skeleton and now, a practically invincible killer robot who is using me for internet content." You growled, listing off all the ridiculous things that occured ever since you fought, and defeated, Endeavor.
"Endeavor is supposed to be the Number Two Hero, and yet everyone I've faced so far was tougher than him. And don't even get me started on that creep Gaster. I don't even know what to think of him." You said to Flowey, gently picking him up off of your shoulder and holding him in your hands.
Flowey nodded. "Yeah... things certainly started being weird ever since that night. But what the hell was that? Why did your SOUL turn yellow? Since when can you do that?" Flowey asked, you were just as confused about it as he was.
"No clue, Flowey. Honestly no clue." You said, letting your SOUL emerge from your chest once more, just like earlier, your SOUL was once again red, but still, covered in the black, hateful substance. The small red heart was faintly glowing red, illuminating the alley.
"It's back to normal." Flowey said, reaching out with a vine to gently touch the SOUL. Hate, as always, was fairly aggressive, trying to strike back against Flowey when he got too close, but he ignored it, placing the vine against the heart.
"It doesn't feel any different. It feels the same as it always does. Except, you know, with the Hate trying to rip my vine to pieces." Flowey said, curiosity clear in his voice. "Maybe Gaster would know what the hell happened... but how would we even reach him? It's not like he left a phone number." Flowey said.
You nodded. "True... he may not have left a phone number, but, if that robot is as famous as he claims, maybe he saw the video that is probably going viral on every part of the internet. If he did see it, we may not need to reach out." You said. This was weird. So weird, that you were willing to set aside your suspicions about Gaster and actually ask him about this, if you got the chance.
Flowey nodded in agreement. "He DID express an interest in your SOUL when you first met. Hopefully you attacking him didn't leave a permanently bad first impression. You're way too impulsive sometimes, you know that? I get that you're on a strict 'fight first ask questions never' regiment, but you really ought to try thinking before you act sometimes." Flowey said.
You rolled your eyes at the comment. "Oh cry me a river, Flowey. I attacked someone who was making me angry, big whoop. It's not like I do that every single day. You really shouldn't be surprised anymore." You said simply. Your SOUL returning back into your chest.
You put your hand out, a small, glowing, four-pointed star appearing in it. "Might be a good idea to SAVE. Just in case the cops find us here while I'm taking a breather." You said, you stayed still for a moment before a 'ding' could be heard from the star. Then, the star disappeared.
You considered telling Flowey about Chara. You decided against it. It would do you no good to worry Flowey further about something that he can do nothing about.
You figured that Chara is something you can deal with on your own, if it comes to it. Though, Chara's handling of your SAVE is concerning. You weren't too keen on having anyone but you messing around when it comes to that. Granted, Chara loading you back to life just before your death IS useful, but it doesn't change the fact that you weren't comfortable with anyone but you having access to it.
Your thoughts wandered towards Mettaton. He recorded the whole fight. Was probably streaming it online, too. That's concerning, to say the least. That's the second time you were recorded. More and more heroes and civillians will learn to recognize your appearance. That is going to make things very inconvenient in the future.
Then, there was this... 'Alphys' character. Who the hell is Alphys? And why is her robot coming after you? Why did she even build a robot enterainter, anyway?
"Speaking of you taking a breather, you feel fine yet? I'd rather not stick around when the heroes come crawling around here. You're already tired from your fight with the microwave, last thing you need is another opponent." Flowey said, trying to reason with you.
"Will you relax? This alley is completely empty and we lost the cops a while ago. It's safe for now. We'll be gone long before any heroes show up." You said, completely relaxed in your position.
"IS THAT SO, VILLAIN?!" A deep, overly dramatic voice asked. A voice that was all-too familiar.
Your eyes widened, your head snapping towards the entrance to the alley, where a large, hulking figure stood, hands on his hips in a dramatic pose.
"I WOULDN'T BE SO SURE! WHY? BECAUSE I AM HERE!"
