Papyrus' eyes widened. His body slowly turned to dust, leaving only his skull behind. "WELL. THAT WAS UNEXPECTED. STILL! I BELIEVE YOU CAN BE BETTER. EVEN IF YOU DON'T THINK SO. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TRY. I BELIEVE IN YO-" He didn't get to finish his sentence before you stomped his skull into the ground.

You stared down at the dust remaining. This... was strange. Why did you feel like this? You've never felt this way after killing anyone.

You shook off the feeling, making your knife disappear and putting your hood back on

You shook off the feeling, making your knife disappear and putting your hood back on. It's time to head back.

You begin walking towards the bar, the whole time you felt like someone was watching you. You glanced around the streets. Completely empty. What the hell was going on?

You decide to speed up your pace, if someone was watching you, it's for the best that you make sure you get home before they can see where that is.

It didn't help. The feeling stayed. You felt uneasy. You had no clue if it was because of that weird guy in your SAVE area, or if it was because someone was genuinely watching you, but you didn't like it.

Finally, you snapped. "WHO THE HELL IS THERE?!" You yelled, turning around, looking rapidly around the street. Still nothing. You growled, turning back around and continuing to walk. You'll just have to ignore it. Maybe you were just paranoid?

Yeah, that must be it.

Finally, you've reached the bar. You open the door and walk straight in, only to be met by the usual sight, Shigaraki sitting at the bar and Kurogiri standing behind the counter.

"Well, you're back earlier than expected. Were you seen?" Shigaraki asked, glancing back towards you.

You shook your head. "Nope. The only person who saw me is dead. No witnesses." You reassured him, though you weren't quite sure of those words yourself. If someone WAS following you, even after you snapped earlier, they probably saw you come here.

Shigaraki nodded. "Good. Your flower friend is still sulking in your room, in case you wanted to check on him." Shigaraki said, causing you to raise an eyebrow.

"You went in my room?" You asked, not bothering to hide your irritation.

"Watch it. It's not your room permanently. You're here temporarily. This is MY lair, I'll go into whatever room I want, whenever I want." Shigaraki said, scowling at you.

You sighed, he wasn't wrong, per se. It IS his lair.

Without another word, you went to your room. And true to Shigaraki's word, Flowey was in his pot, looking down, just as he did when you left.

"Flowey?" You asked, sitting down at the desk. Finally at eye level with him.

"What?" Flowey asked, finally speaking to you since your outburst.

"Look, you know I suck at this type of thing... I'm sorry." You said. Flowey was more than just a friend or even a brother. He was made from YOUR DETERMINATION, he was part of you. "I'm sorry if anything I said hurt you to the point where you refuse to speak to me. But you're the only one I have. All for One, Shigaraki, all of them are nothing. All for One is only using me, I'm fully aware. And Shigaraki is just a spoiled brat who's a bit sick in the head." You said

Flowey was shocked. You never apologized. EVER. Even when you were honestly in the wrong, you would never utter the words 'I'm sorry.'. And yet, here you were. Apologizing to him.

Flowey wasn't sure how to respond.

"I guess what I'm trying to say is... I need you, Flowey. Even if I'm a massive asshole who doesn't deserve you." You said.

Flowey couldn't help but smile. "I appreciate the apology. And I accept it. But your words and actions weren't the only thing making me upset." Flowey began. "What that Gaster guy said is true. I have no SOUL of my own. Everything about me isn't my own. I'm a lab experiment." He said, making you scoff.

"So what? Even without a SOUL you're better than the rest of humanity combined." You said, leaning into your seat.

Flowey chuckled. "Maybe. But... that doesn't change the fact that everything about me, my thoughts, emotions, even my DETERMINATION, isn't my own. It's yours." Flowey said.

You sighed. "Alright, so? What do you want me to do about it? It's not like I can make a new SOUL appear out of nowhere." You said, crossing your arms, as you looked at Flowey. You assumed he had an idea.

"True. You can't make a new SOUL. But who's to say you would have to?" Flowey began, his previously innocent smile starting to turn sinister. "I want to add another part to our plan." Flowey said. "It would have to be an incredibly powerful SOUL, but if we can find someone with a SOUL like that, we could take it. I can take it." Flowey said. "With a SOUL of my own, I can finally be... myself. Not just a part of you that got separated." Flowey said.

You considered his words for a moment. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to get Flowey a soul of his own. Hell, it would certainly make him more powerful than he is right now.

"Alright. We can try to find a SOUL powerful enough. But where do we even begin looking for that? I can't just go around killing anyone I see just to try and find a SOUL for you." You said, even though, technically, 'kill everything you see' is part of your plan.

"Don't worry. You'll know it when you see it. You're BOUND to feel a soul as powerful as that when it's close." Flowey said. "Maybe it's just due to the fact that I'm connected to your DETERMINATION, but I can feel how powerful your SOUL is when you're nearby. Maybe I can feel someone else's SOUL if it's powerful enough, too." Flowey said, and honestly, it was worth a shot.

"Alright then, it's a plan."
