You walked up to the generator and pressed the button.

Suddenly, the room was enveloped by a flickering light. It seems that this place doesn't generate that much power. It's just enough to turn the lights on.

But then, where is all the electricity going if after turning it on, the lights are barely staying on?

You walked out of the power room, and just as you did, a wall on the opposite end of the room started shaking.

A secret door.

This must be where Alphys was hiding all this time. Not a bad idea on her part, hide in a room that requires electricity to find, then make it difficult to turn the power back on.

Unfortunately for her, it's not that difficult for you.

You walked through the secret door, ending up in a long hallway.

You didn't trust this. At all.

You kept walking... until you came upon another door. You opened it and was met with something very interesting...

The DETERMINATION Extractor.

You walked into the room and looked at the giant machine. It was a lot bigger than it looked on the tape. There was something menacing about it.

This machine was powerful enough to extract all the excess DETERMINATION from Gaster, at least, that's what you assumed happened to him.

However, as interesting as it was, it's not what you came here for.

Just as you were about to leave...

The machine turned on.

The Extractor shot out a laser directly at you, forcing Chara's SOUL out of your chest.

You let out a scream of pain as you fell to your knees. You could feel the DETERMINATION slowly leaving Chara's SOUL.

That was when Alphys made herself known.

She was panting and sweating heavily. "Y-yes! It worked!" She said, letting out a relieved laugh as she watched you on your knees, unable to move as the DETERMINATION was drained from you.

"I was beginning to think that you wouldn't stay in place long enough for me to turn it on! But now, now you will finally be able to die, permanently." Alphys said, an uncertain smile on her face.

"W-why... why are you so adamant about killing me?! I never would've even targeted you if you didn't try to oppose me." You said, barely being able to force the words out of your mouth from the pain.

"I've... I've done terrible things. I'm fully aware of that. And I've used this very substance, DETERMINATION, to do it. If there's anything good I can do for this world, it's making sure that the source of this substance won't exist any longer." Alphys said.

So, she believes this to be some sort of redemption for her? That's hilarious.

You chuckled. "You? Do something good for this world?" You asked, laughing to yourself as you spoke.

Then...

You began standing up, Chara's SOUL glowing brighter than ever before.

Alphys' eyes widened as she began to back away. She didn't predict this. She never could've even imagined thay you'd be THIS powerful.

"You're pathetic. You've cursed so many people to a fate worse than death, and then have the gall to judge me? At least the deaths I gave to my victims was swift." You said shakily stepping out of the laser's range and towards Alphys.

"You disgust me. A pathetic weakling who cannot own up to her mistakes." You spat, your eyes narrowing at her as a knife materialized in your hand.

"'Oh, what will I tell their families? Oh, boo hoo!'." You mocked as you walked towards her. "You ruined them." You said.

She stumbled backwards, falling to the floor but still desperately trying to back away from you.

"You destroyed them." You said, your tone getting harsher as you spoke, your eyes flashing red.

"You turned them into abominations whose every moment in life is pain." You growled out, gripping your knife tightly.

"I'm far from sinless, I'm fully aware. I've killed people who don't deserve it. I REVELED in their deaths. But you? You're a whole different type of monster." You said, her back hit the wall.

"You made them suffer pain far worse than you can imagine... but I'll try my best to replicate it for you." You said before raising your hand...

" You said before raising your hand
