Chapter:32: FAMILY IMPRESSION.

Jungkook was a man on a mission at the family event, eager to impress his in-laws with his charming personality and engaging conversational skills. He made sure to make his rounds, striking up conversations with everyone in attendance, from the oldest relatives to the youngest cousins.

Jungkook couldn't help but admire how selfless Jimin was as he noticed how jimin is helping in serving dinner instead of enjoying himself here. He felt shame to not do that even he is guest here. He could have easily impressed anyone here doing what jimin did. But the difference is jimin don't have any motive to do it. He is willingly doing that.

Jimin's caring nature was evident in the way he went out of his way to make sure everyone was taken care of, even at the expense of his own happiness. Jungkook felt a sense of warmth and appreciation towards his friend, knowing that he was truly a kind and generous soul.

"You need any help jimin" Jungkook asked walking to the kitchen when jimin was arranging the food in a presentable container so he can bring it to the family dinner table. Since all the guests are out it's family time to have dinner.

"No it's okay Jungkook have your seat. I'll bring everything two minutes" jimin asked scrunching his nose apologetically and started moving his hands in hurry along with house maids. He is instructing what to do. Jungkook smiled at how generous is. He did not eat the dinner yet getting busy with all these things.

Instead of complaining jimin is apologetic. If any taehyung and him should to this. They are the actual family not jimin. He should take rest like the guest. He kicked his motive to impress the family aside and went inside to help jimin. His friend looks really tired his eyes lost the shine due to tiredness.

"Don't worry. I'm bored there. Let me help you" Jungkook removed his blazer and fold his sleeves and started to help jimin. The latter just smiles looking at Jungkook strong veiny arms (no tattoos please) his attentive serious face. And the puff of his manly perfume.

"Jungkook, what are you doing here? Leave it both of you. You both are my guests why are you doing work. Specially you boy how much do you work?" Grandpa kim said seeing them coming out with dishes to family table. He turn towards to scold jimin again this is the second time jimin caught his attention.

"As I said earlier my name is jimin. And I love doing this. Don't treat me differently please. We are family now let me help you" jimin giggled arranging everything on the table. Jungkook smile hearing jimin but nonetheless focus on keeping the dishes on the table. Taehyung observe jungkook folded sleeves that's so good. Mr Kim notice Jungkook being a help for his family dinner. He smiled seeing him working atleast to something good.

"Jungkook sit down don't do that. You are guest here" taehyung calls his boyfriend to his next seat.

"Yes Jungkook go sit" grandpa also says.

"I told him not to stress too much about the family event. I reassured him that I can manage everything" jimin lied to them so that he can put the spotlight in Jungkook.

"And what did he say to that?" Taehyung curiously asked. Jungkook stood awkwardly at the lies.

"He said, 'How can I not stress? It's a family event, how can I eat with them as a guest they worked hard today. I'll serve them first family is important." Jimin buttered his friend in front of his future in laws. Family look at him with impressed look.

"He also helped in making sure the event goes smoothly he gave ideas here and there" Jungkook literally gave simple tips to the servants jimin is praising him as if he did everything. He look at everyone they all looked impressed. Lie

"That's so good to know Jungkook have a seat. Have dinner it's already 8" taehyung pulled his boyfriend to sit. Jimin smiled recalling how Jungkook will be super hungry the minute clock hits 8pm it's like his body turn into food garbage he simply stuff food.

"Jimin come here you too sit" Grandpa Kim made jimin sit next to him which is opposite to taekook seat.

"Thank you" jimin pulled his chair smiling and sat there. Head of the family starts to eat rest everyone eats their dinner. Jungkook eyes is not leaving jimins how casually he is having conversation with that old man the same man who was so strict to him is smiling with jimin now.

"What are doing jolly" taehyung yelled gaining everyone attention. Jungkook look at taehyung confused.

"Don't you know I don't eat fish why did you put that in my plate" he yelled

"Babes calm down everyone are looking at you" Jungkook whispered.

"Did he serve you too?" Taehyung look at Jungkook plate which had a half eaten fish. He was so focused in jimin did not even notice he ate something he hated.

"I thought you hated fish?" Taehyung lift his eyebrows asking it. Jungkook look at his left and right to see the whole family attention.

"I told him to eat it. You see it's a family dinner I wanted him to have a taste" Kim seokjin came for his rescue. Whole family gasped hearing the cold shoulder seokjin is helping someone. Grandpa is beyond shocked to see his second son like this.
